Punk's pre-match promo was great, he's the best chickenshit heel in years. Orton's "I have no opinion. I expected them to win, and they won" promo was cringeworthy.

Yeah like Ken I enjoyed both promos, and I do think Orton plays his character well, both in and out of the ring, but he just isn't anything too special. CM Punk is the best mic worker to grace the WWE in years, and is just perfect as the self-righteous cock you just want to punch in the face, as well as being a great chickenshit heel.

I'm surprised nobody has voted Orton yet. Obviously Punk is one of the most loved guys on the internet, but Orton is pretty damn popular himself and seems to have a lot of marks. Surely there are some people who think he's better?
I do think that even though Punk is in essence the better heel, Orton suffers from being on RAW and being booked awfully.

I like Punk but Orton is the man when it comes to being a complete and utter asshole. I can buy him more as a heel than Punk, though Punk is still a good heel. That and he has the natural look of a bastard, which helps sell being a heel.
Punk just sometimes comes across as a parent who just keeps telling you not to do drugs.

I'm all about orton as well but lately his in work as been sub par at best!! Punks keeps on rising to another level, so as of right now i got to say punk is better right now.
Punk's heel character is kinda like the joker, in the sense that he laughs and smile. Orton is like a heel Batman, no laughing and so serious. Why so serious, Orton?
I like Punk but Orton is the man when it comes to being a complete and utter asshole. I can buy him more as a heel than Punk, though Punk is still a good heel. That and he has the natural look of a bastard, which helps sell being a heel.

Orton definitely does have a great look for a heel, that being the look of a psycho and/or a rapist, and that definitely does a lot for his character.
I just think that despite this, and despite his good mic work, Punk pretty much destroys him in this area. They are portraying different characters naturally, with Punk being more self-righteous and preachy, but honestly, I want to hate Punk a lot more than I do Orton. If we're talking about look, he definitely has the sort of face you want to punch, and he just comes across as so hateable in his promos.
Considering he gets a lot more heat than Orton and not as many cheers, I think most agree with me.
