Before I continue, I am not talking about wrestling ability here. I'm not even talking about charisma. If you love Jericho or Orton because they are charismatic, good wrestlers or whatever, that doesn't count. I'm talking from a mark's perspective about their character. Jericho doesn't have a likeable character at all, because he does his job as a heel so well. Likewise, as much as people hate Cena, most would say he seems a likeable guy and gives people a reason to get behind him, thus doing his job as a face.
What I'm asking then is, which heel seems the most likeable, so you don't want to boo them? On the flip side, which face gives you no reason to get behind them based on their character?

Triple H screams least likeable face. He's just a genuine dickhead.
The heel I'm not so sure on. If it wasn't for him now saying the fans are weak, Punk would fit the bill as all he is doing is trying to help the audience and everyone else, in an overly preachy way. But now.. nah.

For some reason I think Big Show. Most high profile heels are pretty good at their job. Orton, Jericho, Regal, Punk are all pretty hateable in kayfabe terms. Yes Big Show is a bully, but I think he is somewhat likeable, and gets pops in certain situations, such as on RAW this past Monday.
Least likeable face:
HHH hands down. He hasn't really changed his character. He attacks faces randomly, he mocked Jeff's drug problems and he's basically just an arrogant dick, plus he's invincible, so there's actually no reason to get behind him, because he doesn't show any sort of vulnerability.
Other contenders for this: John Morrison due to his lack of charisma and general unlikeableness, and Batista for the same reasons.

I would say the least likeable face at the moment would be DX, or just HH in general. The DX thing really doesn't play off for one, but they're rebels doing very criminal things to humilate people and getting cheap laughs.
MVP could also fit the bill. He plays a very cocky and dirty face.
If Jeff Hardy still worked, I'd say him as well.
Most likeable heel is a toughie. Punk tries to convert people to a clean lifestyle, so he fits the bill.I'd like to say Chavo Guerrero. He wants to keep his family name alive. Can't think of much, though

Khali is a very bad face. He is boring and has no personality.
This is about kayface terms, dude. Khali's done nothing as of late to make him hateable in any way whatsoever.
Funny how a guy that's boring and has no personality has the crowd in the palm of his hand.
