Obviously it's a fairly common topic that RAW needs new main eventers and all that stuff. Hell, even some wrestlers have commented on it, with Chris Jericho claiming WWE is in a "crisis period" due to the lack of new stars, and Shawn Michaels reportedly asking who has been built up while he's been gone, only to discover that nobody really has. Add to that the statistic thrown around before Summerslam that a combination of Orton, Cena and Triple H has featured in 26 PPVs (27 after Breaking Point) and its clear that there is a problem. I don't think anybody believes Breaking Point will be the last encounter between a combination of those three names either.
My question is, whether it be Orton retaining or more likely, Cena becoming WWE Champion once again, what the hell are they gonna do after Breaking Point? I imagine Cena would face Orton in a rematch at HIAC, or if Orton wins, he'll go on to face Triple H in HIAC, no doubt losing the title back to The Game. Batista is returning soon so he will no doubt be in the mix, and unfortunately I expect another boring Orton/Batista feud considering Orton put him out. It seems to me that it's just the same tired cycle with the same guys feuding with each other. They've got Triple H, Cena, Orton and Batista, and then everybody else (bar guys like Michaels and Show) is a midcarder who doesn't look anywhere near the required level to challenge for the title. They could have built up Swagger and made him look credible, but instead it looks like it's going to be the same guys facing each other.
So, after Breaking Point and the resulting rematches, what's the RAW title picture going to look like? Will anybody other than Cena/Tista/Orton/HHH break into it? Will RAW EVER create a new star?

Re: The RAW Title Picture: What are they gonna do??
they wont but should build up Swagger Mvp or even the Miz to become big stars in 2010 but im afraid it will be the same guys in the spots for the rest of this year
Re: The RAW Title Picture: What are they gonna do??
well we have discussed this all before RAW is just horrible with building stars. Swagger,MVP and Henry all could be built a bit more to be credible to compete for the WWE championship but instead they keep Swagger in the mid card slot and make MVP and Henry compete with Jericho and Show. Somebody like Michaels should step up and this DX thing is really pointless because what are they gonna do? Feud with Legacy forever?

...Okay? Add more to your posts. Thanks.
The problem I see is...the only two heels I could see feuding with Cena is Randy and the Big Show. Both we've seen.. this year.. since Wrestlemania. Then there is HHH who he was just somewhat feuding with and we've seen it many times and HBK which we've seen before. None of those options are appealing at all.

Re: The RAW Title Picture: What are they gonna do??
Franklin if you haven't got anything to add maybe don't reply to my threads in future?
That was ages ago and things are different now. I'm asking specifically what should happen after Breaking Point with Cena likely winning the title.
After his performances against guys like Miz, Cody and Swagger on RAW this year, I would love for Cena to have a reign where he randomly faces some midcard guys on PPV and makes them look good. The problem is that the same guys always get shots. I can't see them doing something like Cena vs Swagger or Cena vs MVP even on PPV.
They really seem to have dropped the ball on both Swagger and Bourne. That's RAW for you.

Re: The RAW Title Picture: What are they gonna do??
Raw has talent like Smackdown but refuses to use it. I think they are scare of Cena or the other guys would lose their spot. Cena does not have loyal fans and they will turn their back on him at anytime. Batista could retire. Triple H is boring as a face.
This is one reason why I have been saying HBK needs a world title reign. He is a part time wrestler but give him the belt when he is active.
Re: The RAW Title Picture: What are they gonna do??
I'd definitely throw Mark Henry in the mix, assuming he and MVP don't win tomorrow. He pinned Orton on his first night and they never followed up on it. I don't know if I'd have him win the strap, but I'd have definitely thrown him at Orton. The fans would have been really behind him as a credible threat to Legacy.

One of the reasons Orton is so stale is that when you think about it, he is constantly facing the same guys. This is only going to get worse with the HHH feud yet to come to a head and Batista no doubt returning to get revenge on Orton for "injuring him". This is the problem with his gimmick of putting people on the shelf. It doesn't make sense for them to come back without owning him.
Orton would be so much more fresh and interesting if he wasn't constantly facing the same 3 guys. In addition to the Hnery thing, they also had MVP interrupt him one time and he never got a title shot. If guys like MVP and Bourne had got title shots his reign would be so much more interesting.
