Ok so this weekend at Breaking Point Taker takes on Punk for the WHC in a submission match. But really can we see Taker tapping out to the Anaconda Vice? I doubt it some how and I think Taker will win with Hells Gate.
Also where does this take their feud after this? I know Punk taking the title off Jeff Hardy was to end Hardy's tenure at WWE for now but to take it off him so quickly is a little harsh to be fare. I know he doesn't look like a proper world champion but still.
Also is this one last title run for Taker before he retires or another way to help elevate Punk's status in WWE after he takes the title back at another PPV down the line?

Taker tapping or Punk tapping aren't the only two possible outcomes. What if Punk hits the GTS, knocking Taker out, before applying his hold? If he's out, he can't tap, right? Ref stops the match, right? Or, what if Punk gets himself DQ'd?

Why? Taker got knocked out by the Big Show at No Mercy last year. I could definitely see Taker getting knocked out, as a knockout is something that can happen to anybody and doesn't affect their credibility at all.

Why? Taker got knocked out by the Big Show at No Mercy last year. I could definitely see Taker getting knocked out, as a knockout is something that can happen to anybody and doesn't affect their credibility at all.
Yeah but that match with Big Show was to do with his boxing skills not a move that is really associated with wrestling that much. I do wanna see Punk retain the title because he hasn't had it long enough but ligitametly to give him better credibility.

So what are you saying? That Undertaker getting hit with the GTS would make him look bad or something? It's a move that could believably KO anybody, so the principal is very much the same.

But kayfabe isn't the same as reality. Big Show's KO punch was built up as a move that could knock out ANYONE, Punk's GTS hasn't ever knocked anyone out.

Suppose so. It certainly wouldn't seem unbelievable to me to see somebody KO'd from a blow to the head like that though, even Undertaker. Punk teased the return of the Anaconda Vice last week so that will surely play a part. Hopefully he defeats Matt with it tonight.
