Triple H honestly acts like a heel even when he's a face. From needlessly pedigreeing London and Kendrick back in 2007, to mocking Jeff Hardy for his drug problems last year, he's always been a dick. I think he is a natural heel and would be far better off with a heel turn, but the timing would not be right. With Batista coming back, there would easily be enough star power for HHH to turn if that's what they wanted to do, but I really don't want to see him turn on HBK in the same fashion as he did in 2002. I would much rather his turn was fresh and actually benefitted somebody.
As I believe I said in another thread, the only logical way to turn Triple H heel would be to have him feud with an over midcard face who is good in the underdog role, have them defeat him a couple of times, and have Triple H's ego get the better of him. He can't take losing to some "nobody" (in his eyes), snaps and destroys them. Somebody like Primo or Bourne would work in the underdog role, but somebody like MVP would be a lot more believable. It depends very much on who WWE want to make a star out of. Bourne is being booked into the ground on RAW, and I can't see them pushing Primo as a singles star. Meanwhile, Kofi would be an option if they are serious about his push. Right now, MVP seems the only viable option on RAW, but for me, he isn't really worth investing such a huge push in, due to his average ring skills and his age. If they wern't booking him so badly and seemingly showing no desire to push him, Bourne would be ideal for it.
Bottom line though, Triple H turning would be good, but for the love of God wait until DX is over and use some young midcarder.

HHH being heel would be interesting but having DX being heel would be total awesomeness but it's a shame that HBK won't do it because of his stupid born again Christian thing. Batista would be an excellent choice because he has been face for a while now and a change is needed. Cena would be another interesting choice.

They should turn Batista and reunite him with Orton. Explain it that him and Orton still resent each other but somebody has convinced them to put it aside as they cannot run the show until Cena is out of the way. Their goal is to work together to end Cena's career. The somebody who convinced them to reunite turns out to be none other than Flair.
Thus you have a heel supergroup created. Orton, Batista, Ted, Cody, Flair as Manager. The Evolution of Legacy.
