It looks a little bit like they're trying to go down a Borat/Bruno route of him being in a character, and interacting with people who don't realise it's a stitch up. But then if Vince hasn't seen those movies, nobody else has, and so when he realises, he'll pull the plug.

...I hope they don't have Mr. Killings dress in drag anytime soon. I wouldn't put it past Vince to try some sort of Shanana gimmick. they'd probably have him team up with Santina, and make them tag champs.

That's a pretty big way to swing a statement "Two Time Former World Champion".
That is like putting the AFL Championship on the same level as the Super Bowl. TNA was a glorified indie promotion at the time, and the NWA Championship had not been relevant since the 80's.
As for this Pretty Ricky thing, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was Sacha Baron Cohen or whatever his name is. AKA Ali G, Borat, and Bruno. It seems like they are trying to copy his success by having R-Truth play alter egos and screw with people in a reality prank style. The thing is, it's not funny....at all.
There is one huge plus if this gimmick sticks, we won't have to hear his abortion of a theme song anymore.

He once gave Cena shit in an airport and WWE fired him years ago because they didn't value him enough, I'm not surprised.
I don't know if you mean those at two different reasons as to why they'd do this or if you think they're related to one another but he was released far before his "feud" with Cena.
I'm sure you knew that but just making sure.
And again, people are reacting far too over the top about this. Give it time to fail/make it/drift off and never be seen again.
