I just thought it'd be interesting to talk about the impact these new 'Guest hosts' are having.
I think it's actually worked quite well, especially with Dibiase Snr. It allows for someone in a position of power to make fresh and unusual matches and decisions not reliant on a worn out character (Vince, Vickie, etc).
Plus, Dibiase rocks my world. He could be WWE President of Earth for my money. I had to mark when he said "Everybody's got a price" and then cracked out his maniacal laughter. Legend.

It really depends on who they pick, but I can't deny that it adds some added entertainment to RAW every week anticipating who the next guest host will be. As you said, it is a lot better than seeing Vince every week, and definitely a lot better than seeing Vickie every week. It may get old, but thus far I am certainly in favour of it.
I'm not a fan of Batista but choosing him undoubtedly worked, and The Million Dollar Man was really cool last night. Looking forward to finding out who is next.

Yeah it's a great idea to keep things fresh, and to mix things up. For the time being it will work out. They could probably keep up with the idea for awhile too.

It's a decent idea and gives me something to look forward to week in and week out, but I worry the appeal will end quick. At the same time, as said, it does make things fresh especially the Million Dollar Man since we never see him. Imagine a one night Heyman or Bischoff return? Would be epic.
Though some things don't add up. You can make PPV matches, but after two hours you're out of power. Can't those be changed?
on a side note...
People were saying Batista could have fired Orton, and while that's true on the other hand had he fired him he could have been rehired later on, so he decided to put him through pain instead.

Why would he be rehired? He knocked the boss "out for months", then he kicked the boss's son "out for months", RKO'd and DDT'd the boss's daughter, made threats about the boss's grandchildren.
See, this feud makes zero sense.

The guest idea is pretty awesome. I think that it's great to see different people making matches and running the show each week. It really spices up things on Raw; something that Raw dearly needs nowadays..

I like the idea, it gives WWE a chance to bring someone on-screen for something other than just being attacked or for gimmick matches (which is how they usually bring legends on TV). It also lets them make keep exposure on someone out with an injury.
As for Orton, Orton could claim he was fired without just cause and threaten to sue. Otherwise you could say "why didn't the McMahons' fire him the day after WrestleMania since his title shot had been used up?"
