Edge is injured, Matt Hardy is out, Undertaker isn't ready to return. I wouldn't be surprsied if if more wrestlers go down. Are there any people WWE could bring in as a quick fix?
Not necessarily long term. Just somebody who's got a little name value who'd fill some feuds for a couple of months. They'd possibly only need to appear on PPV & TV. They could stay or go once the injured parties return.
I suppose Kennedy is an option. But bringing back one injury prone wrestler to cover wrestlers out with injuries could be a waste of time.
RVD if he's willing could prove a good short term opponent for CM Punk.

I don't think RVD would be interested in a return, even short term. If he was, I'd love to see him back.
When was the last time WWE brought someone in short term anyway? I can't see it happening. They've got more than enough talent to work with already despite the injuries.
lol at the idea of them bringing Kennedy back when they just released him. Would never happen.

Currently, yes. But a few more go down and the whole scene will look barren.
lol WWE isn't TNA. They don't need name value. They need to make new stars.
As for the injury situation, I'm guessing you don't remember what happened in 2007 when a load of stars got injured and they had to constantly change plans? It would take an injury crisis of epic proportions for WWE to look to bring somebody in. The rosters are so deep that there is always somebody who could get a push. Like PS, I think it should be seen as an opportunity to push some younger guys and see what they can do rather than bringing in has-beens.

You always need name value. Even today Hulk Hogan could sell a PPV better than WWE's top stars. Just like another Orton/HHH match would outsell a Punk/Jeff Hardy match and people would avoid any show headlined by any of the new stars WWE are hoping to push over the next couple of months.

lol, and that is precisely why WWE need to start pushing them instead of relying on the names all the time, because how are the stars of tomorrow going to be created otherwise?

What better way to get the younger stars over than by having them in feuds with established names?

Mysterio will feud with Punk once Jeff finishes up with Punk (or leaves). Meanwhile Morrison will step up to the upper midcard and pad out the face side of things, making the face side of things pretty much the same, while Jericho once again goes singles. 'Taker and Matt will then be set to return once that's occurred.

I was going to say something along the same lines as Tommy.
TNA has name value and look where it's at. Has Angle, Foley, Booker, or whatever other has-beens (and some aren't even that over the hill, if at all, when they first arrived at least), really brought TNA on leaps and bounds?
I'm all for giving new stars a chance in the limelight. They don't have to be over-pushed at all, just give them a chance.
