How will ECW rate this week.

Before I get deludged with questions like how do ratings work let me say that not one personal in the whole of the world knows, not neilson, not WWE, not the networks, not anyone. That said as a point of reference Raw normally scores between 3.9 and 4.3 as of late. Smackdown in the low 3's and TNA between 0.8 and 1.2.

To prove that ECW is worth a slot WWE has benn asked for consistant rating over 1.0. How do you they the first show will rate?

I'm being conservative and selected between 1.6 and 2.0 Reason why I chose that number is because it's still not the monday night RAW name, and it's on a smaller network, for example, on my cable you have to order it extra with about 50 othe channels you don't want..

That's why they need to get it on USA.. Anyway, all they want is over 1.0 and they should do that no problem.

On a side note... ECW will screen in the UK on Sunday at 10pm on Sky Sports 3.

Yep that's a big mistake by Sky, it could kill the British market. Fair enough hardcore fans will d/l it before but that middle niche that makes up the big numbers (i.e. internet fans who watch sky) will be alienated. It may prevent ECW tours to the UK doing well.

I think they will see how it does before they put it live, they were proberly only aware of it a few backs and just stuck it in the Velocity slot for now

My only concern is that if Smackdown wrestlers turn up on ECW like Rey, they the whole programing is going to be out of sync, since we'll get smackdown before ECW... as well as the fact that I work on Sundays till 11 or 12 so i'll miss it.

Too bad they couldn't just throw ECW into a SD! timeslot, but SD! has a crappy timeslot now in the states and the network is way too conservative..

I'm cool with Tuesday, I just don't have the SCI-FI network unless I decide to pay for it.

I think it will do at least as good as TNA does, maybe better.
