If anything, Morrison was a terrible heel. He had t make his voice sound deeper, say things didn't even make sense, and still got no heat.
As a face, he's pretty much acting like a normal guy. He sang a MJ song... So what? Like seriously... So what? It was a segment.. I seriously have nothing else to say but so what.
It still seems as if they're trying to find the right direction for Morrison as a face, so if he comes out dancing like James Brown next week, I could careless cause the guy is busting his ass in the ring and that's what matters.
I know it sounds like I'm arguing for the sake of it, but has he really gone through that many?
Johnny Nitro to John Morrison to face John Morrison. No big deal really I'd say.
He's still not very good on the mic and I don't think I can really get into his character because of that. His words never have any believable feeling behind them, which makes him seem very bland and one dimensional.
He was Bischoff's assistant. He had about fifty names. Then he went to MNM where he showed charisma, then some solo changes.
He's been through alot. Very recycled.

I don't get why they don't give Morrison a mouth piece like Melina (no pun...). From what I remember she is pretty good on the microphone although I could be mistaken. Morrison is pretty mediocore on the mic.
That.
I know that Morrison needs to speak, but only ocassionally would be best at this point. Just to get a certain thing over or whatever. Having Melina work as his voice and valet would be the best way to go.
I don't really think it would be a big enough match for Summerslam. Morrison isn't ready to be in title matches at big PPVs. A Smackdown match would be fine to test the water and elevate him a little, with Punk cheating for the win and getting more heel heat.
I'd have Punk beat him clean (I'm assuming two things, firstly, that Punk heel turn isn't fully done at NOC, and second, that Punk/Hardy III happens at Summerslam, ending Jeff's career with WWE and solidfying Punk as a heel) and shake his hand afterwards. Considering how subtle some things about Punk's heel turn have been, it would work and show how different Punk acts in victory, to how he acts in defeat to the same person. Also I think we all agree that Morrison isn't at a level yet where he should be beating Punk two straight times, so having Punk cheats puts a question mark over his own credibility as champion. It also leaves an opening for the rubber match, that could happen a month or so down the line (possibly with Morrison as IC Champ) with Punk cheating then, and getting the win. It helps continue the rivalry between the pair and means that as they slowly build Morrison, Punk continues to avoid him until they eventually meet on PPV for the Title. I'd have Punk go over then anyway, because I don't want Morrison as Champion, but whatever.
Well its a good thing that I don't watch Smackdown To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
If one bad segment makes the entire show shit, then you mustn't be watching Raw at all then. That would make all of WWE shit by that logic.
