This pop, for our fellow countryman Finaly, was probably the loudest pop ever. Some might've have been for Hornswoggle, some may even have been for Finaly. But no way was it a real reaction. It's like they'd taped Austin fans from 1998.
I think Morrison is doing well and he is a great worker. I believe if you give it time for the creative team to slightly change his character, he will look better and his push will further benefit him. I agree his mic skills are poor and need a lot of improving but there is always time for that.
Morrison's mic skills have improved since getting The Dirt Sheet. If you noticed during his ECW Title reign, he was the worst at working the mic, and I'm suprised it didnt end his run. Now once he was getting comfortable with his gimmick, he turns face and has to get comfortable working another gimmick.
Also credit to Morrison for just going with the many character and gimmick changes he has in his five years in the WWE.
---- Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero will destroy your face if you dont click on them and participate in the fun.

lol I hardly think he deserves credit for it. He'd be a complete dick if he didn't. It's just expected that you "go with" whatever gimmicks you are given.
I just don't think he is a natural on the mic, but surprisingly that was easier to cover up when he was a heel. As a face he has to be more energetic and fun on the mic and it just seems so forced.
"A few weeks prior to signing with WCW, I witnessed Hogan wrestle Flair on Nitro. Now strictly from a fan perspective, it was very hard to watch. What I witnessed that night was two legends that were shells of their former selves still trying to do it. Watching Hogan & Flair that night just wasn't right. In my opinion the bookers were just exploiting them to try to pop a number. It was a desperate situation and that's exactly the way it came across on TV."

Tom says:
Are you saying you would watch Punk fuck a bald chick in a porno?
Ken says:
I'm saying I'd watch Punk alone in a porno.
I know it sounds like I'm arguing for the sake of it, but has he really gone through that many?
Johnny Nitro to John Morrison to face John Morrison. No big deal really I'd say.
He's still not very good on the mic and I don't think I can really get into his character because of that. His words never have any believable feeling behind them, which makes him seem very bland and one dimensional.

Not if Mick Foley is right. He has written in both of his books that Vince likes wrestlers who speak up and offer their input. Vince wanted to call Mick "Mason the Mutilator" and all this other crap. When wrestlers don't speak up, you get wrestlers like Justin Credible wearing a jockstrap on their head (Aldo Montoya) and former college football star/WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons dressed up as a black Spartacus (Faarooq Asaad). Vince is open to discussing a wrestlers character development, it's just that some people are afraid to speak up to him.
