I am celabraing my 500th post! Thank you, thank you, thank you! lol, anyways....
For my big 500th post, i decided for me to go ahead and see if I still got my good read of posts left in me. So I got to thinking, what would I change in WWE. And I came up with some great ideas of what I would change.
No More General Managers: For me, the GM idea has gotten old.Eric and Sterphanie were the best and now that they arent doing it, i think it is old and can not work. What I would do is make Vince oversee Raw, Shane ECW and Steph Smackdown and make it the McMahons run the show.
Undisputed World Title:I would leave ECW with its title, however I would make sure that WWE and WHC are both unified to make the Undisputed World Championship, giving the title some sort of prestige.
Give ECW a Mid-Card Title:I think that ECW has alot of talent, and they are just running like chickens with their head cut off. I would give them something that they can work for, and not just an ECW title shot.
Separate the Brands...100%: i would make each brand to have 3 PPVs per year with 3 main PPVs..or so. I wouldnt have mulit brand shows so much.
Make the Announce Team back to normal:I would bring King and JR back together, Cole back on Smackdown with someone not Todd Grisham. Put Todd and Matt back together.
Get Some Credible Female Wrestlers i know we talked about an all diva show this week, and i think that WWE just needs more than Melina, Mickie, and Beth.
Anything you think that I missed?

Eh, it's not really a big deal. I see no real problem with GMs. If anything I want to see less of Vince on TV.

Yeah I've been saying this for years. With multiple World Champions it is impossible to make any of them anywhere near as prestigious as the World Title was pre-brand extension. I miss the time when somebody was THE MAN in WWE, and not just one of them. It made every title match huge, and that is a feeling we don't get nowadays. I'd personally like to see the brands merged completely, but then again, if it would be booked as badly as RAW, I'm glad Smackdown and ECW are seperate.

Nope. There is not enough talent on ECW to justify a second title. It would just make the ECW World Title seem less prestigious. I like the idea of everybody on the brand wanting that title, but some have to pay their dues and work their way up to it by getting wins. Not everybody should be wrestling for a title at any one time. Wrestling for a title should be an honour and a privelege, not something anybody can do. That is part of the problem with WWE nowadays.

That would work well. Honestly, I just want them to go with one extreme or the other. If they insist on keeping the brands seperate, I'd rather they did this rather than half-assing it. Every World Title being defended on PPV every month is probably the main reason they arn't as prestigious anymore. If brands had their own PPVs there would still only be one title defended at most PPVs (except the big 4) so the existence of multiple World Titles wouldn't be as much of a problem. They would feel truly seperate so they would retain more prestige.

Anything that splits up the worst commentary team ever, Cole and King, gets my vote.

You're doing the likes of Gail Kim and Natalya a disservice. It would be good for them to sign more talented women, but the main thing they could do is use the ones they have better. They have a good wrestler in Katie Lea stuck on ECW doing nothing. They have Natalya as a valet and not a wrestler when she could easily be both. They have made Beth a laughing stock with the Santina angle, they've buried Melina in the McCool feud etc. They have the talent, its the booking that isn't there.

Right after the split this was how it was for maybe two years.

I totally forgot about them. lol.
BTW, Thanks for outdoing my post. haha.

I'm aware that it worked like that after the brand extension. I didn't mean it would be a new idea, I meant it could work well again. I miss brand exclusive PPVs. Too many title matches on each PPV nowadays and not enough midcard guys/tag teams get the chance to show what they can do on PPV.

You're replacing GM's with other GM's essentially though. I think Vickie, Teddy, and Tiffany were all doing a great job, but now there's no Vickie and we have this guest GM deal. I'm just not sure that's gonna cut it really. The authority figure in wrestling has been done to death so I'm all for the scrapping of GM's, but let's do it right. Just dump the authority figure concept entirely, and have the show run by an anoymous booker we never meet. Neither named, nor mentioned. The McMahons can be used in times of extreme importance, but after McMahon overload during the Attitude era and beyond having 3 doses of seperate McMahons is a bit much for me.

I was going to answer these seperately, but they kind of link. I'm all for unifying the World Titles like they have the Tag belts, and I want them to do it with the Women's straps to. I've said this a million times. It would simply make everything more prestigious. You then would have the midcard Title for each brand stay as is, the Intercontinental and US belts, as well as the ECW Title, it's so rarely refered to as a World Title that as long as the Unified Titles were defended on ECW once in a while it could act as a midcard belt. I kind of agree with Tommy that ECW's roster doesn't have the depth to pull it off, but right now there is Christian and Tommy Dreamer as "main eventers" on the show, and in all likelihood Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal will be up there to. So what does Shelton Benjamin do with his time once those four are jockeying for position to challenge the Unified World Champion? He holds the ECW Title, facing Zack Ryder, Sheamus and the Japanese fella who sparked him out this week. It would also work as a real stepping stone (for a while at least) because the possibility of an ECW "main eventer" ever beating the World Champion would be miniscule and thus the ECW Title would often (if not always) be the only Title held on the show by someone on the roster meaning the promo's cut themselves about who is the "main event" on ECW.

I agree with the brand split being a joke but there are other ways around it than this. You have to remember that no matter how you slice it Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series will always be multi-brand. Assuming we follow on from the previous suggestion and unify the World and Women's belts as the Tag ones have been, we'd have to have those belts (or at least one of those belts) defended on each of the single brand PPV's, as well as the brand specific midcard Titles. It's actually a good way to fill out the ECW card because you would have three unified belts, more often than not, held by non ECW roster members, which would mean ECW would only have to provide half the match-up. Creating three or four fresh matches after that should be simply enough. With WWE's current PPV schedule, they are looking at about thirteen PPV's per year, so splitting it as three PPV show's each between the brands would work fine, using the above model.
However, WWE could get around it without brand specific PPV's. Having the WWE Title and World Heavyweight Title defended on alternate PPV's, while the ECW Title is defended each month, and the other midcard belts are also alternated. It would free up space on each PPV card for fresh fueds and mean the top Titles were fueded over for longer, thus making them look worth the time and effort to care about.

The commentators I'm pretty happy with for now. King and Cole are an ear canal abortion granted, but JR could have a potato sat next to him and he'd still be fantastic. I also like the team Matt and Josh have going on. It's not the same as what Matt and Todd had going on, but it's not bad by any means.
As for the Women's Division... I'm one of the few guys I know that pays attention to the Women and in all honesty, even I struggle with WWE's take on it. I agree that Alicia Fox, Michelle McCool and The Bella Twins should fuck off and be replaced by girls with talent, but unless those talented girls catch Johnny Ace's eye in Playboy it's just not happening.

Great 500th post by the way.
Well the whole reason for making the McMahon incharge was so that we have a permanent Genral Managers...they wont get fired. I think that will be good.
And thanks :-).

I agree with having an Undisputed Champion and having split branded PPVs with the only exception being that I'd either give an ECW Championship match to each PPV regardless of brand with ECW never having solo PPVs, or instead of PPVs ECW would do Live Web Streams for free as their big shows once every month to test the waters for what kind of revenue could be made from that.
Single brand Raw and Smackdown PPVs, I'm a huge fan of the concept as it usually gives each brand 8 weeks to build up a big show. The issue is they never use to do that and instead a main attraction would be a Bob Holly match. In theory it is a great idea so long as it is executed properly.
As for Divas, I really don't give a damn. I wouldn't invest any more time or effort into it. Either keep it minimalized or take it off completely.
I'd also introduce a Junior Heavyweight Division on Raw. You could do it on Smackdown but that's basically what the World Heavyweight Division is now (sans Kane.) It'd look far too contradicting.

You cant really test revenue buy giving something out for free. Yeah, we can see how many people are interested in the show, but they do that already. Maybe they can do a once a month "ECW Pay-Per-View Webisode" and charge like 5 buck or something....?

There are ways to make revenue using web streams, or else JTV and other popular live streaming sites would be out of business.
I don't know whether or not the alternative streams of revenue would be nearly enough to make it worth the endeavour. If not, charging a small fee would also be a good idea. Maybe charge a fee to new users while giving it free to those who have subscribed to a year of WWE's online video on demand service that they have been trying to establish.
I hope that we can both agree that ECW doesn't have enough star power or depth to do a 39.99 3 hour PPV and succeed. The way I see it is the only two viable options would be to have each Raw or Smackdown PPV "Feature" ECW, or to do 2 hour webisodes.
