I've been thinking it over as to how to unify all 3 world titles, i thought maybe a triple or nothing triple threat match could be made and the winner is the unified world champ, but i came up with something more. The titles should be unified at Wrestlemania in order to start the yr with 1 world champ. I thought the triple threat match should have Undertaker, Shawn Micheals, and HHH in the match since it would be huge for the WWE only thing is that one of the men would have to be willing to win the ECW title. They have the match at wrestlemania only one thing happens, the winner of the money in the bank match cashes it in right before the match starts and makes it a fatal 4 way. I dont kno who could be the MITB winner but heres my picks.
John Cena-A pleasant suprise for the fans as he takes his "likes a good fight" mentality into the ring.
Jeff Hardy/Christain-Decides to seize the moment and take a chance
Edge-If he were ever to turn face he could do it by being the Ultimate oppurtunist and take part in one of the WWE's biggest matches and win the title the right way.
I dnt kno who the winner should be but it has to be won in clean fashion and an instant classic. This would be my plan if it were for this upcoming wrestlemania. The tri branded world champs cant last forever, eventually one world champ must be kept.
Okay, so I don't want to edit your idea too much, I just want to make some sense of it.
You'd also have to take into consideration the Royal Rumble as well. So with youre idea, you have four men involved, but you'd absolutely have to add another person due top the RR, so that gives us 5. So I'll try to think of something.
you would have to start planning this a year ahead, keep in mind, because you'd need the right people to be in the right places. You can't have the guy you want to be the WWE Champion on Smackdown! obviously. So lets start after Wrestlemania 26, and we're planning the Unification for 27.
So you pick the five guys you want to be involved with it. If I had a choice, I'd definitely only consider former World/WWE Champions for this. After all, you want htis match to be important. That gives you: Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Kane, Big Show, Randy Orton, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Batista, Triple H, Jeff Hardy and Edge.
Now, of course, we want the most over people to be in the match, no doubt we're talking about John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton. We definitely want them invovled. Problem is, they're all on one show. Fine, we'll draft John Cena to Smackdown! this year. Randy Orton and Triple H can stay on the same show, and you'll see why. Now, we'll take Jeff Hardy and we'll send him to ECW. He's digressed from the Main Event enough to go to ECW but credible enough to face a mega star like Trips. Show, Mysterio or Kane would work as well. Everyone else is good where they are, or can go anywhere else for that matter.
Now, fast foward to Survivor Series, the three brands decide to have a 5 on 5 on 5 match in the main event whichs pits current WWE Champion Triple H and his team against current World Champion John Cena and his team against current ECW Champion Jeff Hardy and his team. It honestly doesn't matter who wins, but interaction between the Champions should be kept minimal.
For the month leading up the Survivor Series, the feud has to be about the brands, the GROUPS of susperstars and the General Managers. It isn't until after SS, where the feud between the actual brand leaders start. This is where its gets tricky. You see, for about two months the feuds between the Champions have to be second hand. You have to remind the fans that this is still going on, but still have two Pay-Per-Views you have to have a card for, so the Champions have to be feuding with someone else. Do things like stare downs, talking shit to them from your own show, run ins etc. Stick to the basics for this part.
Now we're at the Royal Rumble, and this is important. Leading up to this, Edge has been swearing that he'll get into a World Title match at Wresltemania some how. The spot in the Rumble alludes him for the first three weeks leading up, until finally he is able to secure a spot. This is important, that we have Randy Orton and Edge as the last two people in the Royal Rumble. Edge wants this so bad. Orton does too, but you can imagine how bad Edge wants it. Almost like a sickness for him. Orton is taking a more methodical way about it, and though he cares, you can't see it nearly as much as you can on Edge. With that said, Randy Orton wins the Royal Rumble.
This is when the feud really begins. Now the Champions are at each others throats. Cena, Hardy and Triple H are showing up on all three shows pulling antics on each other. The match has to be "on" at the point, set in stone that it will happen at Mania.
Edge is furious, leading up to Mania. Challenging Orton for his match, challenging World Champions for matches etc. Relentless on getting in the World Title match. No avail. Now, there are enough Championships to where No Way Out could probably get by without nay World Titles. US, IC, Unified Tags and two Womends belts plus other matches.
After NWO, the feud obviously has a twist now. Randy Orton has a Title Shot at Wrestlemania, but the Champions are facing each other. Vince McMahon, who ideally hasn't been on TV for months and months comes out to resolve the issue, telling Orton that he too is now in the World Title Match and could win WWE, World and ECW Titles all at the same time.
So now you have four men traveling from show to show, three seperate shows, possibly four if you want them to do Superstars too, attacking each other and whatnot.
We're down to Wrestlemania and the Undisputed Match is on, it will be WWE Champion Triple H vs. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. ECW World Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Number One Contender Randy Orton.
Before the World Title match takes place, the Money in the Bank match is set for go. Its just as fun for us as usual and tiring for them as usual. Near the end, a poiint comes when everyone is down. Through the crowd runs Edge, climbs the ladder and grabs the briefcase, and runs out with the Contract, signing it and making it official though he was never in the match.
Sure enough, the four men copmes out for the main event later that night but before the bell can ring, Edge's music blares and he makes his way to the ring. You now have the five most over wrestlers in the WWE today facing each other with the only questions being Taker, HBK and Tista. It doesn't matter who wins, it just definitely has to be epic.

Thats pretty good i completely forgot about the royal rumble, either way this idea has to be looked at more by the WWE writers.
I personally wouldn't have the ECW Title unifed with the other two. It's been treated as secondary in the past and is rarely refered to as a World Title (if ever). A simple one on one match between WWE and World Heavyweight Champions would work much better, and mean more in the long run. You would then have one World Champion over three brands and four shows, one pair of Tag Team Champions, preferably one Women's Title, and three brand specific singles mid-card Titles in the IC, US, and ECW Titles.
Sorted.
And no need to have a massive amount of people in the Wrestlemania main event... Which really should be something that promoted as difficult to get into.

I agree that five people is excessive, and even four is, but they promote the ECW Championship as equal to the others. I mean obviously its not but it be easily put to their level, or at least comparable, with a years time.
Take Show, Kane and Rey who are former World Champions stuck in the midcard again, and are most likely to never hold another World Title, and put them on ECW. The other brands don't need them, it would only help ECW for its last year. Then whoever the ECW Champion is at the time is at least comparable to the others.
As for the RR/MITB thing, eh, I just added that for creativety. I didn't want to change his original idea of the MITB, but at the same time you couldn't do it without the RR.
How could you unify the Titles at Mania (unless you pull a Cena 08) with the Royal Rumble in mind?
Anyways, I'm surprised I didn't get rep for that post.

I'm not saying the ECW Title isn't worthy of being called a World Title. Over the past year or so, it's been the most consistently well booked belt in the 'E, of any kind of Title. My point is Vince (and WWE in general) will never promote it as anything larger that IC/US level, and they don't currently. Sure, if you win the Rumble you can chose to wrestle for the ECW Title if you wish, but how many people have thus far taken that option? Shit... How many have even teased taking that option? Taker is the only guy who stood face to face with Bobby Lashley to make it look like he might go there. And thank God he didn't, really.
I do agree that Rey, Kane and Show should be on ECW in the Title hunt, but Vince's red headed step-child is very much mistreated in my opinion.

Mistreated, or treated equal with different qualities? So it doesn't have a grat main event scene. but Vince has obviously treated ECW to the most active and alive midcard scene in the world, bar none.
I'm nopt disagreeing that ECW isn't on the same level on the other brands, I'm just saying that if they were to want to unify the belts, they would have to do the ECW as well, and I feel like they'd plan for it.

If I was merging, the ECW title would be merged with the IC & US.
As for the world titles, I'd simply have the two best options for the belt face off for the new unified WWE Championship. There's no need for it to be complicated.

Mistreated. The midcard scene on ECW is none existent because it has no belt to fight for. Sure, they have some great up and comers on the roster, but until they are headlining ECW week after week they are promoted as nothing compared to those on the other shows.
As far as quality is concerned, for the past year-ish, ECW has been far more entertaining than Raw and Smackdown, but I agree that it isn't promoted as being anywhere near the same level as the others.
