I've seen nothing from Smith to impress me, but nothing to conclude he's awful either. I just see a big guy, with a famous name and a decent gimmick being used to the best of his current abilities. I'll agree his match with Finlay was pretty bad, but his match with Christian was very entertaining, and in Tags he's very handy as the big dominant guy, especially partnered with Kidd, who's a good little man.
...and the rules don't apply to me, brother.

Swagger/Finlay from No Way Out was pretty bad and had a lot of miscommunication between the two. They did have a real good match on ECW the week or so before that, though.
Oh yeah, the match at No Way Out was certainly disappointing, but I wouldn't call it bad, just not as good as their previous effort.

I don't think the lack of heat helped the No Way Out match. It wasn't horrible, but it'll give you that impression if the fans watching it live don't care about it.
