Re: What's your general opinion on Ted DiBiase Jr.?
I disagree... I would say a fair amount of fans will hold the current stars such as Legacy (for example) up against their fathers and grandfathers in order to judge whether they are better or not. If anything the second and third generation guys get a lot more flack for "living off daddies name" and such.
Orton has surpassed his father, but neither Rhodes nor DiBiase are even close to their respective father's accomplishments yet, and we all know it.
...and the rules don't apply to me, brother.

Re: What's your general opinion on Ted DiBiase Jr.?
I meant that 2nd/3rd generation superstars do have an advantage over other superstars who aren't. For example, If there are two names on a list that Vince needs to see and one of them happens to have a famous last name, he'll see that kid before he sees the other. I'm not quite sure if I'm making sense but I'm trying to explain this in the best way possible.

I like him. He's got a good look..he's pretty crisp in the ring, and he's believable on the mic. I liked his backstage thing with Orton this past week.

That's also a disadvantage as well though. You might be able to be signed easier if you have a famous last name, but the expectations for you will be that much higher. Take David Sammartino for example. He was signed by the WWE because of the fact that Bruno was the top guy there for years and years. Vince Jr obviously had hopes that he would be as big of a star as his father. However, once David proved that he wasn't as over or as talented as Bruno, Vince didn't want to do anything with him. Had David had a different last name, he might of lasted longer in the 'E.

I remember Flip saying he should be pushed to the World Title within a year or something.
Anyway, I like him. His mic skills are the best thing about him easily. It is rare to see a young guy with the mic skills he has. He's very composed and just seems a natural in that respect. In the ring I definitely need to see more of him, but he seems solid at worst.
Re: What's your general opinion on Ted DiBiase Jr.?
I reckon DiBiase has heeps of potential but hasn't been able to show it yet. In-ring wise it seems that Codey Rhodes is getting all the action and even on the mic so I can say Ted isn't getting much of a chance at the moment. Give him time, maybe until near the end of the year and you will start seeing the best of Ted DiBiase.

Yeah, I don't know about that, Flip, but he should get a World Title run in maybe two or three years. I expect him to be just like Orton

Re: What's your general opinion on Ted DiBiase Jr.?
The problem is that people haven't really seen everything that he is capable off. I'm not saying he's going to be anything huge, but he hasn't had a single chance to be a singles guy. He was Cody's tag partner, then he got injured/taken off TV/whatever, and now he's a lackey as part of the Legacy. He's shown brief glimpses through his limited promo oppourtunities, and he's still incredibly young. He definately has a future if he's been thrown in right away with a main eventer in Orton.
