Everyone remembers back in the day, when Scott Hall & Kevin Nash left WWE and joined WCW. Everyone thought Vince had sent them there to destroy WCW, which he hadn't but thinking about this and then watching WWE v ECW, has Vince pulled something off that no-one would expect?
Let me explain.
ECW is now just about to begin its course and start as this new brand and last night they gained the 7ft Big Show to bolster ECW.
But has this been set up by Vince?
Imagine a month or so down the road, ECW has been a big success with everyone pulling their weight and making it watchable wrestling. Then, Big Show begins to mess up matches, interfere in other people's bussiness and start to turn the entire ECW roster against him. Over time, Show is an outcast and is slowly disrupting the entire ECW brand.
Then Show begins recieving various notes and gifts from a stranger until he recieves one that basically says "Your Work is Done, Next Week i Shall Finish It" which could then lead to Vince appearing on ECW and claiming that Show was never ECW and was actually sent to ECW by Vince to destroy it.
You could also include Angle in this and have Vince say that he knew Heyman was going to pick Angle and that before Angle went, Vince had disscussed a takedown of ECW and he needed Kurt's help as well. Which would then shock everyone watching and have Angle & Show rip off their ECW shirts for WWE ones.
Heyman would then try to declare war on WWE but Vince says because ECW is controlled by him, he no longer wants ECW around and decides to pull the plug on ECW once and for all.
Vince would then be all happy until Heyman lets Vince know that whilst he was at Raw or Smackdown when this all started, he held discussions with Linda Mcmahon who agreeded to sell ECW back to Heyman.
This would send Vince into a rage but there would be nothing he could do about it as Heyman declared WWE to finally once again have some more competition and ECW would once again become a seperate company.
Over the following weeks, ECW grows and is able to push WWE in the ratings, sparking off once again the monday night wars. Which would benefit everyone involved.
WWE may once again be able to write decent storylines while ECW would once again be controlled by Heyman and this would make everyone happy again and give the viewing audience a choice.
Discuss.
