Is Santino Worth The Spotlight?

I do like Santino don't get me wrong he is the funniest aspect of the WWE right now. His comic role is amazing especially atm with Vickie and his "sister" Santina. All I wonder is why doesn't he wrestle more often? I'd like to see him use actual moves, have a proper finisher and win a match cleanly instead of roll-ups and count-outs etc.

Should WWE give Santino a different direction in-ring wise?

Not sure why he doesn't wrestle as much. Anyone who has seen that clip of his on youtube of him in OVW under that Russian gimmick knows that he can wrestle pretty good.

Anyway at this stage in this stage of his career it just seems as if Santino is gonna be a comdic act for a long time to come. Don't see how the WWE can put him over as a serious wrestler.

nothing wrong with a bit of comedy and he is comedy gold! it would be nice to have the wrestlers wrestle though.

I would rather watch Santino talk than wrestling. Wrestling is boring. its the story that grabs ur attention

The reason why they won't have Santino wrestle is because WWE management realizes he's much better at talking than wrestling, so that's what they've been using him for... talk. He gets the attention of the audience to really listen to him... he makes you laugh... etc...

Ultimately, because of his talking, he has grabbed the fan's attention and the direction looks to be a face turn due to the pops he keeps getting to due to his 'entertaining' talking. Truthfully, I didn't like it when he was a constant in the women's division due to well, that should be focused on women, but as long as they focused on the Glamarella being broken up angle, have him continue to talk making fun of people, it's all good... so he IS worth the spotlight.

He is definitely better at talking than wrestling, but what they are using him for currently doesn't make the most of him at all. Anyone can dance around in a dress. I miss the time when they had him come out and interrupt people, only to get owned in comic fashion. It all started going downhill once they paired him with Beth. Since then, nothing he has done has really been amusing to me.

I wouldn't want to see him wrestle more because he's pretty boring, but I think they need to revert to what got him over in the first place.

There is nothing wrong with Santino's wrestling. He wrestles exactly how a comedy wrestler should.

You gotta remember, when Santino came in, he was just some random guy in the audience. Realistically, he wasn't going to be out wrestling anyone any time soon. I'm hoping with this face run, we start to see more wrestling creep in.

From what's been happening with Santino recently in his face turn, and holding his own against Miz and Chavo I wouldn't surprised if they started having him in more matches. He can still be funny and tough. Cena, Austin, Rock, Angle. They were all main eventers with a dab of comedy schtick to them... Santino will never reach those levels, but he can be a mid-carder easily, rather than just the lower card comedy act he is.

But what a comedy act. I love that man.
