WWE really should push the boat out on their extras, bit pointless just paying for the PPV and then one or 2 extras, Wrestlemania is the only one they do anything with which is disapointing.

Re: Official WWE Upcoming DVD Thread

Especially for Blu-Ray. You have so much extra space on the disc, you might as well fill it up. If the WWE is going to treat the year as a 14 episode series with the PPV's being the major points of the year, they should throw on every big match (Title change, ect) that happened on free TV between PPV's on the next PPV DVD. So for example, Backlash should have Christian vs Finlay from Superstars.

Or maybe produce a PPV show as it were like Heat just for the DVD's.

Throw in a few matches, extended match buildups and a special feature now and again.

Surely they've got enough presenters on their payroll to do this and it wouldn't cost much, just do it in that little studio they have.

So happy that the tagged classics have reached the year 2000. I'll probably buy them all eventually just because I'm such a mark for that year, partly because it was good but probably mainly nostalgia.

The Macho Man DVD is a must get for me. It's about time they release a DVD in tribute to him as he is one of my all time favorites. I think he was such a tremendous worker and so damn entertaining. He could make us love him, hate him...the man had alot of emotion...one of the best ever. And I am digging the matches that they are going to put on the DVD. I was so dissapointed that they canceled the DVD last year.

Allied Powers: The Worlds Greatest Tag Teams

Quote:
From: Silver Vision

Disc 1

Throughout the years, fans of sports entertainment have enjoyed the controlled chaos of tag-team wrestling. Many present and future Hall of Fame Superstars have been part of a popular duo, including Shawn Michaels (The Rockers), Bret “Hit Man” Hart (The Hart Foundation) and Jeff and Matt Hardy (The Hardy Boys). Some Superstars will forever be remembered for their incredible impact as a team, including The Road Warriors, The Fabulous Freebirds and The Midnight Express. Some teams were a result of the unique, temporary pairing of two singles Superstars, including The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan and Randy “Macho Man” Savage), and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels).
