ECW : Have they captivated you?

With ONS shaping up to be a different beast than last years old-school offering has ECW done enough to get you to buy ONS? Will you religously watch the weekly show? Is this new twist on a classic a winner or a damp squib? Do you even care?

I think if you are any kind of wrestling fan and have the ability to watch the weekly program you have to check it out. You have to watch and see what they really do with the brand coming back and how much influence Heyman will actually have.

I don't have a problem with them changing up One Night Stand this time around, because really, what else could be done? The ECW stars are mostly old now and/or can't get out of their own way.

I don't buy into the people who say "ECW is in the past..leave it in the past" because almost everyone is on board with the project whether it be Heyman, RVD, Sabu, or Tazz.. And contrary to what you'll hear from the Dudleys on TNA they are fake. If they were still under contract to WWE they'd be all for the return of ECW so don't buy that bullshit.

And if these so-called die hard ECW fans want to bitch, Fuck them! They don't have to buy the tickets or watch the shows. ECW and WWE will survive without them. I have no respect for wrestling fans who don't embrace change. ECW isn't going to be exactly like it was 6 years ago because it's FUCKING 6 YEARS AGO! You can't stay the same and be successful in wrestling. Just ask Eric and Russo about the 58th incarnation of the nWo... How'd that work out?

I won't be buying it as i don't have sky but i shall make sure i try to download it the following day to see how it shapes up to last years.

And for watching the weekly shows it will be the same, downloading until i manage to get sky.

Also i hope ECW does what it did before and make stars from new people coming in and not re-hash the older already made stars.

To be honest Mikk I havnt seen any mention of ECW being shown on Sky yet. (perhaps Crocker will know more). So far it's same old same old download for me too.

Definitely. I wasnt really old enough or have access to the original ECW, but with Heyman having the book, this will probably be my favourite show/"brand" of the 3 i'd imagine.

As far as I know One Night Stand will be shown on Sky Sports 1, and the ECW TV show will be replacing Velocity (Sunday Nights) on Sky Sports 3

Extreme Championship Wrestling's new TV show air in Germany and the UK. Fans in the UK are able to see ECW Sundays on SKY Sports 3. In Germany, ECW can be seen Saturdays on Premiere Sport, one day earlier than in the UK.
