It looks as if John Morrison has his first ever face turn in the WWE. He had pretty good fan reaction from the crowd for being a new face. He also looked good against Benjamin. The good thing is so far Fans are cheering for him when he does his entrance and when he wins. However he still need to get more cheers. Also during the match the fans were not cheering. I am guessing they have the face/heel confusion like they did with MVP when he first became a face.

I was gonna make a thread about this very subject. Yes we are entering Jo Mo's first run as a face. He put on a very good match with Benjamin today and pretty much solidified his face turn. The fans were pretty quiet during the match (especially when he tried to rally the crowd with the foot stomps), but it shouldn't be to hard to get him over in the ring. Everyone loves the high flyers.

Well, of course he couldn't get the crowd behind him during the match with Benjamin. The crowd, at that point, had no reason to think he was turning. The match just seemed like one of those rare heel vs heel matches. He did get more cheers than boo's during the match, though. If anything solidified his face turn, I think it was his backstage segment with Jericho.

Missed that part of SD but read about it in the spoilers. A fued with one of SD's top heels could do wonders for his career. I see a major push coming.

Yeah, same here. It has to be going towards a feud with Jericho because they got into a pretty furious brawl. This will be huge for JoMo because Jericho will make him look incredible.

I haven't seen this yet, but look forward to seeing how it's presented. You can be sure I'll be more than vocally about it once I have as well. I have a lot of time for Morrison in the ring, but it's his persona and mic work I have issue with. Working with Jericho should really help that though.

In that case, I think you'll be pleased. Judging from his match with Benjamin, he seems to be breaking out a slightly different style. He seems more hungry and dedicated, and he busted out a couple moves I haven't seen from him yet.

Yer I always wanted him to be a face. Being a heel with moves in your aresnal such as a standing SSP, a SSP from the top rope onto 6 superstars from on the floor, Mule kick dropkick, Moonlight Drive - all incredible...
Sam with Benjamin. Both have amazing abilities that suit a face - unlike, say, HHHs or RKOs movesets - cold and calculating...

Thing is.. the way Morrison presented the moves made it easy for people to boo him. He made it seem like he's so much more superior for doing it and was just ridiculous and showing off his ability. So it worked as a heel, surprisingly.
It also will work as a face and I'm really intrigued by this.

I'm glad he's getting a push, and a feud with Jericho would be great.
But his cocky, arrogant style may not carry over that well to being a face. I think a 'funny heel' that everyone loves to see get beat up would be the best for him.
