Draft Booking Is 50/50 so far...

It seems like winners have already been produced from the draft. The Big Show, CM Punk, Dolph Zigger, and John Morrison have already seemed to stand out.

And while some are getting there (Miz), the rest is just shot down. Two potentials on their brand, TBK and Helms, are held back with Kendrick getting an undeserved loss and Hurricane joining the broadcast team. From the looks of RAW Hornswaggle is useless except for Diva pranks. Carlito and Primo have no one. Matt Hardy is getting a mid card treatment.

I know it is just week one, but do you sense anything so far and do you want to change something?

I'm wondering where there going with Ziggler, or if it's just a case of, "He looks good and can cut a decent promo. Let's stick out there and give him a win over someone awesome like MVP," which would be a shame cos after Smackdown this week, who's he gonna fued with?

I've not seen anything past Backlash as of yet, although I'll likely watch Raw tomorrow, so I don't know how things are panning out. I assume Helms has been given a non-wrestling role because he's injured again (which I'm sure I remember reading somewhere) but if not that's a waste of perfectly good talent right there.

I think it's too early to tell anyway.

Gotta disagree on your perception of Matt Hardy. they wouldn't have brought out the cast Bob Orton gimmick and had him go over Goldust is such dickish fashion if they didn't have something planned for him.

Bob Orton was an upper-midcarder at best though, so the plans could mean very little.

Although, I agree in theory. This could lead somewhere exciting for the better Hardy brother.

Matt is never going to be a legit main eventer, so I wouldn't see that as a downgrade.

I think both Morrison and MVP have a real shot of coming into their own this year.

You're saying Kendrick is getting held back just because he lost ONE MATCH?

Give it time in my opinion. It is impossible to make such judgments one week after the draft. Kendrick looked pretty good against Kofi and for all we know they could be about to feud. I think people are often to quick to say a wrestler is being held down after a couple of losses. I was sceptical about Kendrick's move to RAW and still am, but I'm at least going to give it a month or so and see how they treat him in that time before saying he is being held down.

Carlito and Primo have Priceless to feud with.

Hornswoggle is just a comedy character anyway and always has been, so how exactly is he being held down? lol

From what I understand Helms still has injury problems. Maybe somebody can confirm?

So overall, yeah, just give it time and see how it plays out.

Yeah, Kendrick's loss wasn't exactly devastating, but that he lost his Raw debut is a little worrying... But then it was against Kofi, who's obviously caught the eye of WWE brass with an impressive start to '09. So, it's definitely to early to be counting Kendrick out.

Also, The Colons aren't exclusive to Raw. I'm watching it right now and King just said that because they have the Unified Tag titles they can jump about the brands. I'm assuming that when they lose they be Raw exclusive though.

MVP I thought was a better heel, saying how he is 'Better Than You' - but I suppose that can work in his face routine when approaching heels.

MVP is most certainly better as a heel. I don't even think the face turn was on purpose, itt was just that the crowd saw a talented guy being jobbed out to fuck and the underdog mentality kicked in. It wasn't fair considering what he'd done to deserve it and it meant that people started cheering for him. It just kinda grew from there I reckon.

Yer, but MVP seemed to love the 'M-V-P' chants he was getting during that promo at the start of RAW. Plus his PWNAGE~! of Legacy made me lulz. Then again, Ive always liked MVP.

Also hope to see big things from Mr. Mizanin. Hoo Rah!!!
