we have two canadian heels on Smackdown!, so now I think about who should really be on top? I mean, Jericho get heat from the crowd because he belittles them, and Edge gets heat because he's slept with the boss to get his titles. So who should be on top and why?

If anybody should turn face it should be Edge, because right now Jericho is the better heel of the two and isn't really stale as he has only been heel about a year or less. Edge has been heel since what? 2005? He is kinda stale at the moment, although maybe without Vickie he will be more entertaining.
So I say neither should turn, and for now Edge should be the top heel, getting a long reign for once. Jericho will get his time.

I voted Jericho. I mean obviously AT THIS MOMENT Edge should be the top heel. He's champion. For a few months he should continue. But after he drops it I'd loveto see Jericho get the top heel spot and maybe an Edge face turn.

Currently reading Jericho's book, so I think that might be making me bias, but definitely Jericho. He was wasted at WM with the Legends storyline, but he's still one of the best all-around the WWE has. Good in the ring, good on the mic, and very capable of generating serious heat. Edge is good in those areas, too, but would probably become a lot more interesting with a face turn at this point.

Yeah, the long term plan should be that Edge hold the title until Summerslam or Survivor Series and then drop it to Punk when he cashed in his MITB contract. After the rematch, Edge can tease a face turn while Punk fueds with Jericho and the mid-card heels can get elevated into some main event matches.
An Edge turn, coupled with Jericho vs. Punk would make Smackdown must see TV for me.

After his interaction with Christian, I'm thinking we might see a face turn from Edge sooner rather than later. Hopefully we get a good 6 to 7 month reign from him.
As for who should be top, I may be a little biased toward Edge but IMO the champ should always be the top man of his company/brand.

As much as I was against Chris Jericho on Raw, I'd like to see him as World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown. It just comes down to quality of matches. I have far more faith in Jericho to produce quality with Mysterio, Taker, Hardy and Punk than I do Edge. Keep the belt on Edge for awhile longer just because feuds will be more fresh, but in the long run, have Jericho be the top heel.

So the choices are a guy whose been cutting the same promos and repeating the same lines for three months now or a guy who is Triple H-lite? Fuck me, a Punk heel turn couldn't be more welcome.
I voted Jericho as he so deserves at least one world title reign in his career that isn't total shit and because Edge got stale a year ago.

jericho should do a face turn, and go back to the days where he looked like a rockstar, the new jericho totally sucks and I wasn't a fan of his to begin with.
