With both Champions being on SmackDown before WrestleMania, and both champs being on RAW now, does anyone think that the WWE will unify the world titles (not ECW Title) and have the champ compete on both shows again?

I imagine Edge will beat Cena which will mean a joke amount of title changes, and will render Cena's Mania win pretty pointless. Failing that, there is a minor chance of a Punk cash-in.
There is no way they will unify the titles, which is a shame because I still firmly believe the titles mean a hell of a lot less since the brand extension.

I wholeheartedly agree. Unify the two top titles. If you must have separate brands keep the US for Raw and the IC for SD. Not only would it make WWE title more credible, it would bring some much needed prestige to the mid-card titles by having them act as somewhat of the top title of their brand.

Dear lord no. Champions going from show to show is fucking terrible.
Since the brand extension is continuing, I think like said, either Edge will win the title or Punk will cash in MITB against someone. Though I can't really see him doing it with two faces unless he turns heel. But turning heel on a brand with Jericho/Edge doesn't seem like a great idea either.

I believe that the brands would be better of with one champions going back and forth for three good reasons.
1, it will undoubtably make the Title more credible, as you have ONE TOP GUY and not two disputables.
2, it also might slow the process in which people can stack up 8 Title wins in three years, each of them being a joke.
3, if done right, it could make the US/IC/Tag belts more credible too. While you have Cena from feuding with Undertaker from SD!, you can have Triple H fighting Batista for the US and Edge fighting Mysterio for the IC. Then with the midcard guys you had almost filling out the IC/US Divisions, you can have doing makeshift Tag Teams, or just establishing a REAL Tag Division.

If they unify the Championships, they should create WWE like it was befor the brand extension. One roster, get rid of the US Title, keep IC, and then they all fight for it. Make ECW it's own company, bring back Heyman, get rid of WWE Creative in ECW< and we will have three major wrestling organizations in the world....Now I can breathe.

actually you would have 4 major companies, ROH is also on the rise, I just hope they don't screw up aswell.
ROH isn't on TV in american...or California. But it's possible. I doubt it, but possible. ROH is used mainly for a stepping stone for the stars to get into TNA (for the most part).
