Kane storyline Idea

Now granted some of this is not actually my idea, it's partly lifted from someone on another forum (no not that one).. but I like the idea and would like the expand on it. We've thought of ways to get the mask back on Kane but why? Why should he put the mask on? Is the mask controlling him? Well, not necessarily..

Lets look at it this way.. Say that man that came out dressed as the old Kane is actually the real Kane.. Now before you get lost, hear me out.. the old Kane got injured a while back and then came back.. So lets say the man you see now took over the role as Kane, thinking the old Kane is gone and buried..

This man can come back to reclaim his name and defeat the Kane imposter (Glen Jacobs).. Then he can continue to wrestle with the mask but after the match just have Glen Jacobs continue to play the role? Got it?

Sure it'd be obvious that Glen Jacobs is under the mask but he can go back to playing the silent killer type and we'll have the mask back on him in a way that makes more sense.

I think that that idea is too complex to sell as a Wrestling storyline, but I also have nothing better to offer at this time. Everytime Kane becomes good-natured his promos are entertaining and fresh, then WWE tells him to lose that and laugh maniacally. Basically they take away his most natural tendancies to make him into the monster figure that has has it's run so many times that no-one cares.

Firstly, all credit to Glen Jacobs for taking a character that was probably intended as a short term gimmick and running it succesfully for so many years. He deserves all he's had from it for giving personality and depth to a performer that was unable to display emotion "facially" and yet always succeeded in portraying emotion and feeling. I'm not big into power performers like him, but as that ilk goes, he's a good one and has had quite a good number of matches down the years.

However.......the character needs a break, and instead it's back in the middle of yet another non-sensical plot twist. Kane needs to be off our TV screens for up to a year to "freshen" the role, quite simply because everything has been done to death and, particularly for long time viewers, none of the plotlines have continuity or make sense any longer.

And is the fake Kane who may or may not be the fake fake Diesel maybe also the fake Isaac Yankem.

One thing is for certain, it wasn't Nash. This guy walked a few yards without collapsing

The idea is that WWE acts like Glen Jacobs is a fraud for the quick feud and then when the masked Kane wins out, Glen Jacobs goes under the mask to take on the role.
