This week the WWE has effectively achieved every goal they have set out to do so. Monday Night Raw in my opinion was a perfecct continuation of what is rapidly becoming the hottest feud of the decade, as the WWE actually didnt drop the ball on Orton and HHH. I was in shock how well the final segment came across, and how the WWE didnt blow their load, and if this continues this feud is going to be of legend.
Then ECW came along and CC v Swagger for the ECW title goes down. I can not stretch to you just how impressed I was with this match. No one can deny Swagger choked at NWO, and Finlay was no better, but CC brought out the BEST in Swagger, and Christian in his own right showed why hes among the best in the world, with amazing offence, incredible selling and ring sycology, continuesly playing his injured arm. Swagger for the first time looked like a beast, at one stage hitting a shoulder breaker, running powerslam in to the corner, shouler breaker combo. Swagger wrestled stiff and the finish gut wresnch power bomb was the sickest to dat.
I was syced that the WWE, who I often critisise nailed two for two, but considered that since SD was double taped it would suck. Now Im in Aus so I get it early so This is a SPOILER ALERT. For the first time in for ever Cena was not built as unstoppable. In Cena v Bigshow Show looked awesome and Cena looked exactly how he should, defient and a fighter, and the crowd ate it up. SD IMO took Edge v Cena to a whole other level. Infact besides Taker jobbing to Kozlof, which does add steam to HBK v Kozloff, wholl job to Taker himself soon, SD was awesome to. Great opening prom, with no Cena goof shinanigans, high level tag match, Shelton MVP feud heats up and no time was wated.
If every weak on WWE programming was like this weak the wwe would be hitting 5.0s. If this continues for the first time in years Im going to be syced for Mania for reasons other than its simply Mania.
HHH/Orton storyline is a bit lame, he RKO'd steph, wow....such an over reaction to that from HHH makes everything about this storyline cringe worthy.
liking how they're doing the US title feud with Benjamin/MVP/Chavo, they're handling that well. liking the whole Hardy Boyz storyline, matt slapping jeff and jeff still not wanting to fight him, they're playing that well. even the cena/edge thing they're doing well.
They're putting all the good storylines on SmackDown! (not too fond of the whole Kovlov push though) and making RAW the HHH show.
I love Triple H & Orton.. but I thought the ending to Raw was a great example of unintenional comedy. It was plodding, full of dumb spots.. Hunter chasing a guy around the arena with a sledgehammer for 6 or 7 minutes but ultimately only hitting his buddy in the back once... who managed to recover and get away.
I absolutely hated the orton HHH chase...not so much the chase it self but the way it was produced. All the different camera angles takes away from the feel of a live event, especially the switiching between inside and outside the locker room that HHH was trying to get into. That's the problem with hollywood writers that go into creative, they cant distinguish the diference between wrestling and other tv shows.
SD was good and agree with the original post. Not 100% what chavo's role is anymore other than pointing to himself as he comes down the aisle. I was kinda hoping that the tag titles would be unified on SD, but also good to see the colons get some momentum back. Maybe a WM tag title turmoil type thing to unify the tag titles?
I like the fact that they've brought Chavo into the U.S title picture, makes it a lot more interesting. Hopefully a triple threat match at Mania? I guess either that or they'll just settle it before then and stick the three of them in MiTB.

HHH has been cool with it a hell of a number of times when Steph has taken bigger hits than an RKO that's why an over reaction here and the over acting from HHH is cringeworthy. plus it's not like they were playing the 'HHH and Steph' card now were they.
the HHH beat down on SD! did help the storyline a lot i'd say but let's just say they didn't introduce HHH well into the Orton/McMahon storyline.
it's not always black and white when doing storylines, think that's where WWE has fallen on it's ass and they'll probably have HHH win at mania which'll complete the shit storyline.
p.s. know before you speak, don't make an ass out of yourself.
