Has there ever been a worse run as champion then they are giving Rey? How many times is he going to lose? Not only do these losses make him look like crap but it makes the title meaningless. I mean, guys like Khali and Henry are basically showing that "Hey, I can be world champion anytime I want" and that is horrible, despicable, deplorable, and incomprehensible..
Why are they doing this? It's just wrong.. It can't be defended, and shouldn't be accepted. It's worse then Khali beating Taker. It's that bad. Just give the belt to Booker already.
no, nothing is worse than Khali beating Taker......nothing.
Yeah, Rey was the underdog in most of his matches, he wins the title and he seems like nothing more than a ragdoll that these "big men" can throw around the ring at their leisure.
I think this run is making Rey and Smackdown look weaker by the day. Booker T isnt going to help the situation either.
They really need a main event dude from Raw to come over and show the boys how its done.

By putting the belt on him, they've put themselves in this crappy situation. There's no way out of it other than to take it off him, it should never have been on him in the first place. What could they do? Have him start beating the top level guys regularly? Have him beat Khali, Mark Henry and the others that are about three times his size?
Mysterio is one of the very very few guys in the world of wrestling where he had been built well enough over the years that you could truly suspend your belief and feel that he could be competitive with any guy on the roster at all. Not that he could beat them though. So they've dug the whole and they need to get out of it quickly.

Even now, though, they don't book him right. If he's taking on a guy that big, he should be flying all over the place, and they should be lumbering after him, trying to catch them. He should squash these big guys with stick & move offence.

IMO he shouldn't even be in the ring with these big bastards.. If you are going to make him champion then make him defend against people closer to his own size so it looks more realistic.. JBL isn't even a good fit, he's a big fucking dude.. They need him in there against people like Benoit or Angle who are still bigger but not to where it is with Khali for christ sake..
I've got a lot of time for what they are trying to do with REY REY but they've just over-booked the underdog angle. As a champ they should play to his strengths (fast innovative Lucha Libre style) and under-book his weaknesses (the fact that a heavily muscled 14 year old could eat him). But the fact is they have no opponents for the guy. Beniot could've carried a feud with him, Booker still might and Finlay (may my tounge turn black for saying it) would be ideal. But if they are going to promote himas brand-leader/champ they need to keep him well out of the big guy scenarios.
