As most know, ECW tends to be the best brand in terms of in ring quality and usually lacks in terms of storylines and angles. Everyone knows the roster is small and lacks, with Dreamer, Finlay, Swagger, Miz/Morrison occasionally, Boogeyman, and uh... I guess Ortiz and of course now Burchill being the only active guys on the show. With *SPOILERS* Noble being on it last night, I think that is the route ECW should go, for now at least. Throw Noble, Yang, and even Goldman on the show and the in ring quality continues to be high quality, you get to use some lower guys who you may not have time for on the other shows, you get more people to put over the younger guys like Swagger, and it gives a chance for guys like Noble to get over without the push being killed instantly since there aren't too many guys on the brand to get over in the first place.
I personally feel as though ECW, since it's treated as the red-headed step child of the WWE anyway, should be booked more like Velocity where the lower tier talent get to show off the in ring ability. Most would agree ECW has the best wrestling in main stream wrestling anyway, so why not add a bit more talent to the pool?
Alright I did a lot of rambling but who do you think should be moved to ECW?
Jamie Noble
Jimmy Yang
Scotty Goldman
And eventually, possibly in the next draft, Rey Mysterio.

I don't mind ECW being the place with all the talented jobbers who don't get an opportunity elsewhere, but they should be looking to send over a big draw ASAP to replace Matt Hardy. It is all very well having a high standard of wrestling, but for most casual fans, there is no reason to watch without the interesting storylines, UNLESS they bring in somebody who will always have a huge fanbase. The best example of this is indeed Rey Mysterio.
I think ECW should be the place where people who arn't getting on TV should go and try to get back on track, but they need at least one big draw over there to get people watching, and Rey fits the bill. He is capable of entertaining matches even at this stage, and obviously has a big fanbase. Plus we could see him and Bourne have a real feud over the ECW title, which would obviously be great to see. I would love to see Rey win it off Swagger eventually and then lose it to Bourne after a few matches together.
The problem is, the guys who come over from RAW often job anyway. Burchill, Noble etc won't be helped by ECW besides getting TV exposure. Even ECW won't push the talented guys unless they are flavor of the month like Swagger or Bourne.

Until the WWE actually remembers that they have a brand extension that is supposed to keep wrestlers on their own show, there isn't a point. Currently, ECW has a talent sharing program with both Raw and Smackdown. In theory, ECW could have wrestlers as high up as John Cena, The Undertaker and Triple H and as low as Funaki, Scotty Goldman and Sim Snuka.
Until things change, ECW already has access to everyone thus no one should be moved.

Just because they have access doesn't mean it will happen. We are talking about people who are going to appear on ECW every week instead of the other brands. Rey being on ECW once wouldn't be the same as Rey being there permanently, so thats the only place to see him and as such, his fans watch the show.

I agree William Regal should go over there and play the veteran role like Finlay to help elevate upcoming stars. He should take his KOTR role to more of an Extent a la King booker and "rule" ECW I think it could make for a better show
As for the others I'd say Snuka, Manu, Charlie Haas, Hawkins, Ryder, Kung fu Naki, Jimmy Wang Yang, Ryan Braddock and Scotty Goldman to get all these guys on television
hell, you could even start up a tag divison for MIz/Morrison with all this talent

And how many of ECW's top guys only appeared on ECW? Evan Bourne was appearing on Raw nearly every week before his injury, Miz and Morrison seems to be on all three shows every week, Finlay has been on Raw and Smackdown a few times in the past couple of months, Henry has appeared about once a month on Smackdown and Matt Hardy was on Smackdown every week before his actual move. With the exception of Jack Swagger, every major ECW name hasn't been ECW only.
With Miz and Morrision holding another brand's title for the second time in less than a year, it's clear that the brand extension is meaningless. There's no reason to even make official trades with ECW since they're already capable of showcasing any wrestler.
