Well to be fair, race has nothing to do with not being a champion for Shelton and being a world champion doesnt define his career. You seemed to be going on about how no one black was being pushed. Kofi has been an IC Champion and tag team champion so far in his young career. Now he is main eventing for Raw at NWO, I'd say he is getting quite the push.
I never said that he wasn't being pushed because he's black. I said that typically black wrestlers don't draw--and I'm talking in terms of being a World Champion--because creative seemingly never gets out of booking them one particular way, or putting them in situations where they can be a breakout star, or give them a gimmick that'll make them stand out.
Kofi's a great talent, and it'd be cool to see him as World Champion, but as he is now, he's not gonna get that shot, because the WWE can't or won't do what's neccessary to convince their audience he's World title ready.
As far as No Way Out goes, he's just another body. I think we can all safely assume he's not main eventing Wrestlemania this year.
But again, I'm not calling it racial discrimination, only a lack imagination on the part of WWE creative.
The race thing has points. There arent many huge black draws. Bookers T could of been in 03 if HHH would of put him over, he didnt so his major popularity from there went downhill.
Lashley was big, could of been huge but his personal life stopped this from happening. Back in 07 he was over and could of kept going and going.
Shelton is good as a heel more practice with saying the fans are worse than him and he could be there some day - i doubt this though.
Kofi - his jamacan gimmick is pathetic. He's good in the ring yes but i cant stand his gimmick and imo he needs to start fresh.
There was a land far away, where a Pay Per View was a rare and special event, feuds weren't a monthly exchange and the term 'Wrestling' wasn't a forbidden word. And in that very special land, there lived men known as bookers who's sole job was to get the other man of the land over with all of the townsfolk. If a man was large and sluggish, they kept his matches short and simple. If another man was a natural, they made sure to pit him against the lesser humans so that the lessers look better. Finally, if a man was born without a voice, they created a magical entity known as the manager. The manager would be that mute man's voice and suddenly the mute know longer had any problems to deal with. You see, in this land far far away, if a man wasn't popular with the townsfolk, it was the bookers who were at fault, not the man.
Sadly, this far away land has long been forgotten along with it's ideals and beliefs.

As corny as that was, it actually worked. She was very charismatic and could talk. Shelton could rely on her to get the heat while he just went to the ring and put on a good match. Taking her away instantly hurt Benjamin.

That's kinda random because there are plenty of white guys more worthy of being World Champion than Kofi, and they also arn't pushed. Kofi has been around how long? He's doing a good enough job on his own of proving that he shouldn't be anywhere near a World Title match, yet he's in one, and guys like Morrison never are. Kofi...Morrison...one's black while the other is white. Beyond that, they're both overrated wrestlers who only positive things about them are some spots and a little following.

It could be because Morrison is a tag team wrestler at the moment. It would be rather odd having someone who has spent the last year in a tag team earing#1 contender for a singles title shot.
