Pretty awesome. Funny how the interview was like 98-99 and they say he's winding down. One decade later..
Thanks guys I appreciate it.
The interview audio that I use is actually from 2002 and 2003....the clips from 1997 that you see him talking...are not the audio...I just wanted to make it look like it.

I mean looking back on the old old old clips of Taker with Brother Love, and Paul Bearer is really astounding. Nobody could've known then how Undertaker would endure for nearly 20yrs. Seeing him in the grey tie, and gloves feels surreal...almost like it was another lifetime ago. He outlasted Hogan, Austin, and Rock and while those guys get all the credit most of the time there was always Taker. Taker earned the respect he has, and I am so happy he has every ounce of success he has attained.
Judging from the interview I suspect the last thing Taker wants to do is become another Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Taker has enough dignity to know when his time has come. Not for awhile hopefully because I want him around for a long time, but realistically when he feels it's time I will respect his decision. It is little wonder that the guys in WWE, and most fans really believe in this man. Taker is just a great guy. He is the whole reason I became a wrestling fan. I saw him on tv one day many lifetimes ago, and I was hooked.
Awesome vid. This sums up everything I love about Taker.
It's pretty amazing that he was handed a gimmick that Vince came up with and made it work as well as he has. How many other major WWE legends were handed the gimmick, out of the blue, that ultimately made them legends?
It's funny, but when I think back to when I was a young fan watching as he debuted, I remember thinking that this guy and his character was so stupid and over the top that he'd never go anywhere. Boy, was I wrong.

Yeah Undertaker is my absolute favorite. I remember back when he first came out...all the kids (I was a 5 or 6 at the time) were supposed to be afraid of him. But I don't know I always loved the character. And as time has went on...I realized holy crap this guy is a awesome wrestler. I say today even...that instead of losing it...he just gets better despite the years are coming up for him.
And yeah it's amazing to think that a character that many would consider silly, would become so huge...so legendary....it really is amazing.
