Randy Orton Suspended for 60 Days.

As first stated through the WWE Text service, Randy Orton will be suspended for 60 days starting on the 12th of April. As of now, the only official word on his suspension is Unprofessional Conduct.
So at the moment it could mean a variety of things from possibly arguing about the Wrestlemania match to something else.
Mikk’s Opinion: Serves him right for whatever he did unless this is a story line. If it isn’t then it could mean he would need replacing on Smackdown which could mean we get a decent talent from Raw.
Tyson Tomko Walks Out.

Certain sources backstage reported that Tomko was originally scheduled to be getting a push with Snitsky just following Wrestlemania. But for the Heat tapings the following night after Wrestlemania, Snitsky was teamed with Goldust after their appearance during the “Freaks†section at Wrestlemania with Booker T & Sharmell.
Realising his push wasn’t going to come, Tomko approached WWE Management team and asked for his release. The release was accepted and Tomko left WWE seemingly to head for Japan to round his skills.
Mikk’s Opinion: I think this was a fairly smart move by Tomko. Going to Japan will certainly help him become a better wrestler and get a little more exposure over there as the Japanese seem to like the big men.
As for him walking out, I probably would of done the same if I’d been promised a push and then not received it.
Backlash Main Event Confirmed.

The main event for Backlash has now been set as Edge v John Cena v Triple H. This breaks a recent tradition of Backlash being a Wrestlemania follow up card and not having the same main event as Wrestlemania.
Also announced for Backlash is Vince & Shane McMahon v Shawn Michaels & God.
Mikk’s Opinion: Should be a very good main event with pretty much everyone expecting Triple H to walk out with the gold. Edge would also be a very good choice should they decide to give him another run with the belt.
This whole angle with the McMahon’s & HBK though is now getting stupid with the inclusion of God. Honestly, who is smoking what backstage to have come up with this crap. WWE needs a more decent storyline for HBK than a stupid angle that is probably going to piss off a lot of people in the States for its religious tones.
Harry Smith Agrees a Verbal Contract.

Son of the legendary British Bulldog and Nephew of recent Hall Of Fame Inductee Bret Hart, is said to have agreed a verbal contract with WWE.
He was in Chicago for the Wrestlemania festivities and that is when the deal took place.
He is currently working in Europe until May but as soon as he is finished with his independent bookings, he will sign with WWE.
Mikk’s Opinion: Not to sure on this one. He is a very good talent but I feel as if it would be a benefit to him if he applied his trade around the globe first before signing with WWE.
He is very young but does have incredible family connections in the wrestling business.
It will be interesting to see how long he is in OVW before they bring him up to the full time roster.
Mr. Money In The Bank To Use Shot At One Night Stand?

In a promo during this past Monday’s Raw, Rob Van Dam stated that he would not wait as long as Edge to use his shot and that the contract would be extreme.
This would indicate that he intends to use it at the ECW One Night Stand PPV in June.
Mikk’s Opinion: This is quite a bad move from the creative team. ECW PPV should be kept to just that, an ECW PPV, not a WWE PPV.
Of course this time there may be a problem with WWE getting the talent it wants for the PPV but adding someone who hasn’t been in ECW would be a spit in the face of the ECW fans.
TNA
Impact Rating Falls Due To Clash With WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony.

TNA Impact did a 0.6 rating as it went head to head with the WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony this past Saturday.
Mikk’s Opinion: This could possibly see if TNA would be worthy competition for WWE in the near future. Based on the rating, at the moment it doesn’t seem so. TNA will eventually be the big contender to WWE and I just hope its soon because WWE really could do with it.
WWE Ejects Fan From Raw For Wearing A TNA Shirt.

A fan that went to the Raw taping In Omaha, NE, wearing a TNA shirt, was asked to leave and when he refused, he was ejected from the arena and refused a refund for his ticket.
Mikk’s Opinion: This is a little silly, fans should be allowed to wear what they like to any taping. Maybe this will be a growing trend and we will see it happening more frequently.

UWF Can confirm that TNA will hold shows in Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia on April 14th and then Fluvanna High School in Palmyra, Virginia will host TNA on the 15th.
Talent confirmed for these shows include current NWA Champion Christian Cage, X-Division Champion Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, AMW, Team Canada, AJ Styles and The Monster Abyss.
Mikk’s Opinion: I’m pleased TNA are doing more shows, its really going to get it out there and get more people interested in there product.
Hopefully if they are a success in the States, they may consider a proper TNA show in the UK.

At the next 1PW show in May, 1PW will bring together 2 of TNA top stars in Samoa Joe & Christian Cage. In what is likely to be the most hyped match of the weekend, 1PW fans will see for the very first time Joe v Cage in what may turn into a massive feud in TNA.
Mikk’s Opinion: YEY! I’m so pleased TNA is testing a Joe v Christian feud in 1PW before it unleashes it in TNA.
Hopefully the fans will give it a good response and TNA will continue with it and make it the title feud for a couple of months.

Mikk’s Opinion: Both shows look awesome. Storm & Credible teaming is going to be huge and its good 1PW is using British talent in such a way. Burridge & Cabana were excellent at All Or Nothing and I’m glad they have continued with this team.
1PW TV Debut A Success.

Just a few hours before Wrestlemania, 1PW made its TV debut with a four hour super show, showing matches from the previous 3 events.
1PW can now confirm that it will make its return to the Wrestling Channel on May 7th with another 4 hour spectacular.
1PW will announce the full line-up for the May show along with other projects in the pipe line over the coming weeks.
Mikk’s Opinion: I wasn’t able to catch the show because of a lack of Sky but from what I’ve heard from various people, it was a very good show. I’m glad they will be releasing it on DVD and hopefully I’ll catch the May show.

Tomko, When your PPV debut is beating up Stevie Richards in drag you would'nt stand a chance even if you could work. A part of me wonders if they asked him to lick Moolahs feet in that freak show part of mania. Eat the worms Booker.
Backlash main event, yes it's the match that logically needs doing but what is it with WWE and triple threats? Spread them out not back to back.
WWE ejects a TNA fan, I'm sad for them.

1pw on TWC : I caught the last hour of the show today and they need to get hold of a couple of talented uni kids that know how to produce a show. Just looked too amatuerish. A good base for the future tho.
Considering that WWE has been taking anti-Cena signs from fans(I didn't see any in the crowd on Raw this week), I can't say i'm surprised. I hop some fan in the front row takes a TNA shirt to Raw, but waits until the show starts before putting it on so that the audience at home can see it.
