You're right. He's known for a bunch of bone-headed booking decisions such as throwing an opponent over the top rope is a disqualification and that moves off the top rope were banned. Both led to match finishes which upset fans, because back then this meant heels had a better chance of winning. Also, I think "Good Ol' J.R." Jim Ross is the only person who could or would induct him in.
