There has been a lot of talk that WWE would be inducting Steve Austin into the WWE Hall of Fame since WrestleMania will be in Texas this year. Well, whether it's by design or due to the fact that WWE is in mass layoff mode, the main page of the company's Hall of Fame subsection of their website has a graphic of Austin with the caption "HALL YEAH, HE'S IN Steve Austin leads the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009". Whether that was meant to get out or an angry ex-employee, to use a wrestling term, "went into business for himself", we don't know.
If it's legitimate (and by that I mean if a fired employee didn't give the company a Stone Cold Salute on the way out the door), there is only one person who can induct him and I would think you all would agree that it has to be Jim Ross.

Anyway Nice to see There looking to put Austin in the Hall of Fame. Most likely means they are going to have him do something at Mania 25 then.

Very few guys who have got in the Hall Of Fame did something at Mania.
Dont get your hopes up, I dont think he will wrestle again.
Meh I can just see it happening & Not necessarily wrestling just something within the PPV whether it be a guest ref, Promo of some sort or just something within the PPV.
Edit.
Plus WM25 is in Texas so i wouldn't be surprised to see him there.

Shortly after Dave Scherer reported that a graphic on the WWE.com website's Hall of Fame subsite announced that Steve Austin would lead the 2009 Class in Houston, Texas, it was yanked from the website.
I predicted Austin to be the main guy in this years HOF, I can probabally see Terry Funk in there too, tbh.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
