As I reported yesterday on my PWInsider.com Elite Hotline, the reason World Wrestling Entertainment wrote Ted DiBiase out of the Raw storylines is that he has booked a movie role.
DiBiase, who will not be returning anytime soon to Raw, will be starring in WWE Films' second straight-to-DVD movie, The Marine 2.
As we reported several months back, John Cena will not be part of the project (beyond a possible cameo that was written for him), which required an extensive re-write on the original script.
Yeah really.........what's the point of making a straight to DVD movie?

I can't believe how badly they flipped up the second generation stable. And to take Teddy off TV for some pointless movie that about 4 die hard fans will watch is ridiculous. WWE Films < XFL

I'm sure it cost a good amount to get your movie into theaters. & they actually did good on The Marine as far as dvd rentals/sales. So maybe they think they'll turn a good profit that way...
I beleive he has got married but the film is the main reason he is also of TV at the moment, if it was just the wedding I dont think he would have been off tv for more than 2 weeks.
Damn, I was enjoying the whole Rhodes/DiBiase thing, but I guess this gives Rhodes time in the limelight, I think that this angle with Orton is great, I hope it leads to something epic ^^
