Aaron Wood sent word that at the Smackdown taping in the UK, a new Survivor Series elimination match was announced for the PPV:
- Batista (captain), CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy & R-Truth vs. Randy Orton (captain), Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin, William Regal & Mark Henry.

I was expecting this but they really haven't made the match in a clever way.
Firstly, Ted isn't in it? Are they just never going to make this damn faction? I know Orton's meant to think he's the "weak link" and such, but I'd have liked to see Orton struggling to get a team together so he has to turn to Priceless, who could even go on to help him win and impress Orton in doing so.
And why is Regal even in that? Or are they going to start a feud next Monday night and conveniently they're already in a match together at Survivor Series?
Shit like this annoys me.

I don't think the WWE's gonna stop creating mixed brand matches, because we don't have control of the booking. This match does look terrible without Ted, it would make sense if they remove Mark Henry for Ted. Ah who am I kidding, this match looks like crap!

Look, take a look at the current people involved in a Survivor-Series style matchup. The number in parenthesses is how many people from each brand are currently involved. Those bolded are not yet involved in a match.

So there ya go. 3 branded matches. The people in bold aren't currently in any matches, but they fit storyline-wise into each match and it keeps the amount of faces and heels equal.
For the RAW match, hell make it a BIG 6-on-6 style Survivor Series matchup. Since RAW is your biggest brand, it'll give the match a big-time feel by having 12 people involved. Or, break up some of those guys into their own matches and keep it a 5-on-5 or 4-on-4.
How hard is it to make 3 distinct brand matches?!?! Seriously WWE: give me a call if you are hiring people to write for you that have a frikkin' brain.

Ted's been off TV recently beacause he got married and was given a little time off. He's been left out of immediate matches as a result
The thing that pisses me off more than anything here is that it's team 'Batista' vs team Orton. Shouldn't it be team Punk? You know.. the guy who lost his title after getting punted by Orton and should be coming for revenge? AAAAARRGGHH!!

This has upset me too before when this brand split happened you would have SD vs Raw in an elimination match but because we have ECF'nW now it has to be a mixed tag and i hate it

Also....
Typically, in these SS matches, the Captain "recruits" members of his team. Isn't that the whole point of a captain? Explain to me how Batista went about choosing R-Truth to be on his team.
The two are on completely separate brands, and what's worse...have they even met eachother?!?! Are we to assume Batista was sitting at home on a Friday night watching Smackdown and said to himself: "I like the way this guy wrestles...I am going to have him on my Survivor Series team!!"
The same goes with Orton "picking" Mark Henry and Shelton Benjamin. I can't recall any storyline EVER between Orton and those two, not to mention they haven't wrestled on the same show in a LONG time.
I just like a little bit of common sense when these matches are put together. Even a quick backstage skit with Batista showing up on Smackdown to recruit R-Truth.

Im rather sick of this, I mean, theres no logic behind it what so ever, theys need to have Orton(Captain) along with Ted DiBiase Jr., Cody Rhodes & Manu vs. Batista (Captain) CM Punk, Kingston & "Surprise guest" (Come on WWE surprise us for the 1st time...in like 3 years)
