TNA sources indicated they are still in discussions with Cage, but the word among the wrestlers was strong enough that I wanted to make note of it.
Ok so who really knows at this point anymore, guess we'll find out next month.

The word around the water cooler here at Insider is that we no longer have a damn clue what is going on anymore. That will not, however, stop us from posting rumors as news. Stay tuned.
tbh

Why are you critising pwinsider, they have been strong on the Christian going to wwe for months and it wasnt them who posted the news that he is staying in TNA the other day.

True, but WO reported that Cage told WWE that he has no interest in re-signing. For me, that's stronger than some chatter backstage from other wrestlers.
Plus, I was mostly ribbing them a bit. I quite like pwinsider.

Christian Cage is indeed expected to leave TNA and return to once World Wrestling Entertainment his contract expires. According to multiple sources, Cage recently informed TNA President Dixie Carter as well as Jeff Jarrett that that he felt it was in his best interest to consider his options with WWE. It's being said that last night's Turning Point pay-per-view or this week's set of Impact television tapings could be Cage's final appearances with TNA. Most of Cage's friends believe he is heading back to WWE once his contract with TNA expires. Source: Rajah.com
LOL @ TNA losing the one WWE reject they swiped up that isn't old and washed up. Good for Christian though, going back to a real wrestling fed.

A Real Wrestling fed?? U mean....Entertainment fed? If it wasn't for the money i think he would probably stay in TNA. I mean if WWE was the way it was even 2 or 3 years ago i would be glad he was coming back but u know vince is just gonna have him jobbing to guys like santino or Kizarny, atleast in TNA he would be having good matches with Angle, Styles, Somoa Joe, Etc..

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"

>.< I can't believe you'd call TNA wrestling. Angle is past it, Joe's growing boring, Styles is god, fair dues, but everyone else is like 50 and would most likely go back to WWE if they wanted them. Christian used TNA as a springboard to become a major player in wrestling and going back to WWE, he'll be at a higher level than if he'd of stayed.

I'm sure if TNA was actually entertaining they'd try to call themselves an "Entertainment" fed as well. How can you argue that TNA is more wrestling oriented when you have shit like Jimmy Rave coming to the ring with guitar hero controllers, Christopher Daniels dancing like a faggot with a fake bowl of curry on his head, Booker T using some retarded fake ass African accent, Kaz is returning as a video game character, some black dude pretending to be Macho Man, a person of arabian decent using theme music featuring explosions and planes in the background, I could go on and on. TNA's "We Are Wrestling" ship sailed long ago. Anyone in their right mind would follow Christian and Gail Kim's lead and go back to WWE given the chance.
At times, it seems like TNA wants to be more serious about the wrestling. But they definitely focus pretty heavy on the entertainment. Its like they want to try to be a genuine alternative to the WWE but get caught up in trying to replicate it at the same time.
