I'm hoping this is just a storyline. I would love to see Christian just start beating up both facets. Kind of play the lone man of the company. That or hook up with Motor City Machine Guns.
- Sources report that TNA officials, at last word, still don't know which way Christian Cage is going. The feeling is that the angle they have shot with him getting beat down covers them either way. If he doesn't sign a new deal, the angle wrote him off. If he does resign, the angle will allow him to come back and be on the babyface team as one of the leaders.
Christian's name has came up in WWE meetings and he has been offered a deal, but the talk is more of what to do with him if they sign him and not any real concrete plans based on his return being guaranteed. Brian Gewirtz wants Cage on RAW because he enjoys writing for him. Michael Hayes and Edge are pushing for him to be on SmackDown and to put the two back together. The feeling is that he will get a big push coming in but if the initial reaction isn't too good, he will be put on the midcard.

Wow, I sure hope he goes to smackdown, they better push him if they do, we need more faces on SD, theres just too many heels, its un even.

That's gotta be at the forefront of Cage's mind. Stay with TNA for less money and get a sweet spot in the company, or go to WWE for more money and hope he gets over big and gets a sweet spot. If it were me, I'd probably choose WWE. At least both the big brands want him and could give him some good angles.

WWE would be dumb to not put him straight in upper card, he has too good charisma and talent to be another mid carder.
As soon as he decides Im sure it will be WWE, It would be far better for his career.

It's not like TNA has done much for him of late. He's been involved in piss poor booking and piss poor story lines for ages.
TNA really should stop mentioning him and WWE. It makes them look so second rate. ..And how does it cover them? How will they explain his potential return?
Yeah, they seemed to have only hurt their chances of bringing him back with that Main Event Mafia promo.
