The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it doesn't appear WWE will be holding a Diva Search this year. When asked, no one within WWE was aware if the company will be going forward with any kind of a contest this year as many felt last year's fell flat at live arenas and was simply a collection of pre-tapes. Plans are always subject to change, but as of now the expectation is that it will not be held this year. It's interesting to note that a majority of the current WWE women's roster all came out of the Diva Search which includes Candice Michelle, Layla, Eve Torres, Maria, Maryse, Michelle McCool, Lena Yada and Tiffany.
They finnally realised no-one cares?

This is the best news all year. Now if only somebody could go back and take away the brain fart that caused it altogether, I'd be a happy man.
Granted, I don't mind the vapid, talentless street walkers ending up in the E, but do we have to sit through 8 weeks of crap vignettes involving pie eating asses, or pay per view time given up to dodgeball?
