This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on USA Network did a 3.2 cable rating, down from the previous few 3.5’s. The show did hours of 3.11 and 3.29. This is obviously not the number WWE wanted leading into the Great American Bash PPV on Sunday.
PWTorch.com editor Wade Keller suspects that last week’s nearly universally panned episode of RAW might have been bad enough to force nearly 10% of the audience to not bother tuning back in.
However, the Home Run Derby on ESPN, which did a 6.4 cable rating, may be in part to blame for the drop in viewers.
Damn you Home Run Derby.

True, I hope they don't panic and change champions because of this rating. Of course, it could have been that they were always going to change this weekend......
I'd like to see Punk hold until Summerslam at least.
The sad thing is, there is a huge possibility that some upper up in wwe will attribute this to Punk not being a draw despite other factors
If there was someone against him they're gonna think what they want to think regardless of the factors in the ratings dropping. It's a shame, but I'm not really a fan of Punk's anyway.

I can see the ratings go up next week. Again, it could be the Home Run Derby that cause the ratings to fall. You can't automatically say that Punk doesn't ratings (God), we're not sure how the ratings are gonna do after Monday night for next week.

I don't put much stock in these numbers. Even I was tuned into the Derby during Josh Hamilton's historic performance.
Derby definetly played a big factor.
