On Leaving WWE For TNA: Life goes in stages and I just felt it was time for me to move on. I could still be in WWE right now, working at the top of the card. But I had done pretty much everything I could do there and all that was left for me was to keep putting more pressure and weight on my body and more mental strain on my family life. After 19 years it was time for me to slow down, kick back and enjoy life for a change.
On Helping Younger Talent: It’s about giving back more than anything. I’m at a stage in my career – after having good runs in WCW and WWE – where I want to do less wrestling and more behind the scenes stuff helping the younger guys come into their own and become household names. They’ve got everything as far as the wrestling goes, they are some of the most talented guys I have ever seen. I’ve had help, wisdom and direction from so many mentors over the years – and I want to pass it onto those guys now.
On TNA Backstage Compared To WWE: Everybody here is loose and happy. There are a lot of young guys all working towards one common goal – making TNA mean something. There’s no animosity or backstabbing. There’s not all that testosterone flying around, with guys fighting to be on top. Everyone here is having fun and that’s why I fit in, because even though I’m the oldest guy on the roster I’m still cracking jokes and playing computer games.
On Michael Hayes: I never had any problems with Michael Hayes. I feel like that issue was just one person not knowing the other. I’ve known Michael for many, many years... and Michael always thought he was black. He was always saying black things in a black way. I think that whatever happened up there was taken out of context and has been blown way out of proportion and they’re feeling it right now in so many different ways, and this is just one of them. And they always say – you reap what you sow.

Hell, Booker left WWE because they suspended his ass and I also think that Michael Hayes is a racist bitch.
Re: Booker T Talks About Leaving WWE, Michael Hayes, more
Booker T is better off in TNA then WWE, WWE used him wrong and i dont think booker T liked it aswell. you can see the difference in Booker T when he's at TNA and when he's at WWE. when he's at TNA hes actually wrestling in WWE he was only standing around and most of the time he was talking and with he was in a match, half the time of that match would go to his entance because it took so bloody long. i think sharmell also enjoys actually wrestling then standing aound talking for Booker, her job really was to walk out with Booker and his 10 minute entrance saying "all hail king Booker" over 50 times.
Re: Booker T Talks About Leaving WWE, Michael Hayes, more
The King Booker Gimmick was the thing that reinvented Booker...he headlined more PPVs than before the gimmick and it bought him a ton of heat.
Reading the interview...he sounds very PC and deliberate not to ruffle any feathers. Either that, or Michael Hayes managed to ypnotise booker before he left wwe

Re: Booker T Talks About Leaving WWE, Michael Hayes, more
Why is Booker claiming he's the oldest guy on the roster? Is he just completely forgetting about Sting and Kevin Nash? Even Scott Steiner is older I think.
Re: Booker T Talks About Leaving WWE, Michael Hayes, more
Hahaha Its what you sow so shall you reap SUCKAAAAAAAAAA.
But seriously he came up with some good points and the dont sound to biased In my opinion. I just laughed how he states that Hayes thinks he is black lol
Re: Booker T Talks About Leaving WWE, Michael Hayes, more
Don't tell me you don't know any white people who think they're black? Michael Hayes could well be the worlds oldest wigger, did you not see him dressed like a pimp at the HOF this year?
