Now I don't watch Smackdown, but I was under the impression this guy was pretty popular.
He must of been doing something right if he was teamed with Animal and given a title run.
Oh well, lets hope 1PW try to sign him so i can see him in march

There are reports that he was having some family issues and he was released on good terms, so if he wants to return in the future that is an option for him.

I feel sorry for the guy, but he was one of many Kings of Suckitude on the two rosters that really had never done anything to warrant having feuds with Taker and tag belts (apart from being big!!).
Interesting to see they put had Animal turn on Mexicools last week. Don't know where that can be going without Heidenreich there since Animal (under the terms of his Lloyds of London injury insurance pay out) is not able to wrestle in "singles" matches.
Maybe they are putting some other lame ass with him?

According to JV, Animal is scheduled to team with Matt Hardy on the house show circuit. I'm all for that, if it means Matt would ditch that terrible undercut...

Moose, if you implying that would like to see Matt Hardy as a Road Warrior then you be crazy fool.
And who is this JV guy?
Last time I heard, Hiendenrich has lots of family in either Mississippi or New Orleans. Perhaps he is having some issues with Hurricane Katrina and the damage it inflicted on his family.
I will say this. I couldnt stand the guy in the ring, but had been gaining some great momentum with the new LOD gimmick.
Animal must be like "Dude, we went through all this new LOD character crap for you to just drop it and leave"
Can't imagine he thinks that does much for the LOD name.
oh well.
Good luck Hiendendrsjgichs

There is something sinister afoot there. John Laurinitis (Animal's brother) is credited for being the guy to nix Matt's push a couple of years back. He looked on the brink of a big breakthrough with V1 on Smackdown and had been feuding with Rey Rey. They needed a heel to "injure" Rey as he had to go have an op. Rey was tagging with Edge a lot at the time too. Creative (allegedly) came up with the obvious angle that Matt injures Rey, Rey's benched, Matt and Edge feud.
However Big John L came along and nixed it because he wanted to put A Train in that spot instead, so Albert injured Rey and got the PPV match, and Matt ultimately then went to Raw and then nowhere (until they fired him). I "know" this from an article with Matt in Powerslam (reputable UK mag). Matt was really scathing about John L. Now I know Vince makes the final decision, but you're never bad mouthing Vince, none of them do very much and John L holds a hell of a lot of sway there.
Now in recent times, his brother (hugely overweight and out of shape) is bought back to help promote a DVD and ends up staying as a performer!! And then.....with his tag team partner dumped....who ends up carrying Big Johns baby brother....Matt Hardy!! Something sounds not right about that. Maybe Matt's on his way out the door again soon and they just want to give him a push on his way!!
On a sidenote, maybe it's really creative stuff......Have Matt start using face paint a lot (a la Animal) and then bring back the face painted Jeff Hardy and have the Hardy Boys kick Animal and Big John's asses all the way out of Stamford. Wishful thinking???
