Big Shows last year?

Credit : ****************

This year, Big Show's contract with the WWE is expected to expire. At this considered point, with his current push within the company, it is expected that the Big Show will resign. As reported earlier, WWE is not looking for TNA to draft any big names from WWE.

K Jay note : Personally I was happy to see Show on one of the house shows I attended but he was'nt the draw that made me buy the ticket. I honestly do'nt think if he left WWE, TNA would have anything for him, I mean how are you gonna book him over there, a couple of matches with Abyss would be his limit IMHO.

I had a sig, once.

I've never seen him wrestle in person, but i've always been a fan of his on TV. I'm really happy about his recent push and hope he does re-sign with WWE.

It's quite an amusing story from when I saw him. It was about the time Eddie was first getting really over (B4 any runs with the belt). Eddie had wrestled his match just b4 the interval and I was about 6 rows back. I'd sat down to look at the shots I'd got on my Digi-cam. Everyone in front of me was still stood up and I just saw Eddie appear above them all. It was a real "eh?" moment and then I realised Show's hand was wrapped round his throat. He is truley massive but at the end of the day that does'nt do it for me. I wanna see guys pull off moves that I just could'nt imagine my body being able to do. Show never did that (unless it was eat 98 double cheeseburgers).

I had a sig, once.

Just as a side note, I find this quite strange. He signed a fat ass 10 year contract (in the same way as Mark Henry did) when he went to WWE with a ludicrously high downside, and that was February 1998 (I think).

It was actually 1999, and he did sign a ten year deal so I think we have him for another 3 years yet

I was nearly right then, the point remains that this sounds a bogus story. Though having said that, they haven't actually said it's going to expire soon have they, they've just said it's going to expire strange report!!

In other breaking news, everybody on the rosters contracts will one day expire.

Maybe their point is that when it's done in 2009 he'll be done. I would have thought that would be a given considering the physical condition he looks to be in plus the downside that they won't offer him even close to next time.

Yeah, this story does seem a bit ridiculous.

I dig the Big Show, but there would only be places like Japan most likely if he left the WWE.

I can't imagine him going anywhere. He is FINALLY being booked the way he should be.
