- WWE Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz has canceled his summer vacation. The feeling is with the lackluster ratings he doesn't want to miss a show since Vince McMahon is more open to outside suggestions when the product isn't doing well.

- The latest WWE CD is considered to be a big flop, as in week three, it only sold 5,897 units and fell to number 113 on the charts leaving the total sales (minus Wal-Mart) at $32,257.

- WWE will be releasing a SummerSlam anthology DVD on August 5th.

Thanks to Colin Vassallo: Former TNA champion Kurt Angle is featured on the cover of the new album from the band 'Emmure', whose music has been used multiple times during TNA television broadcasts. The album is titled 'The Respect Issue' and is available for purchase right now.

Internally TNA was disappointed with the Impact rating after Lockdown and Samoa Joe's title win.

The World X-Cup has been pushed back. It was to begin this month, but will now be moved to June and finish up at the July PPV.
