We reported several weeks back that Shane McMahon said World Wrestling Entertainment was considering building a physical Hall of Fame. The building would honor past Hall of Fame inductees and contain wrestling memorabilia. We're told the project is still being discussed and one of the locations being considered is the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando. Universal Studios also happens to be the home of TNA Wrestling.
Wow, of all places they put it there? WTF? Clearly they are acknowledging TNA now as a legit threat and for some reason want to intrude on their territory. Classic move by the WWE, but I dont really respect it. Should be in Conneticut or NYC if you ask me. Shit even Boston, Toronto or Chicago would be cool. A place were wrestling is pretty big, but Orlando??? That is a cheesy lowball move in my humble opinion.
TNA !! TNA !! TNA !!!

I think a lot more people would visit it if it were in a theme park.
I mean what kind of a person would take a special trip to a stand alone HOF building?
Not me.
Now couple that with Orlando being the king of theme parks and it is not an illogical choice at all.

Hmmmm, the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB all have stand alone HOF's......
I am saying that if it were in the heart of NYC that it would be better suited than at a amusement park.

I agree. Millions of people each year visit Orlando, for the theme parks and exhibitions. Also it has the added benefit of being in a location where wrestling fans go each week.

No offense, but the WWE is no NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB if you know what I mean.
