It was just announced at today's Smackdown/ECW Taping in London, England that Mike Adamle is the new announcer for ECW. He is set to call tonight's entire broadcast.
The word going around backstage at the show is that Joey Styles will be moved to another area within the company.

what a dumb move. If you think Cole and Coach is bad, wait til you see this. That Ademle guy is so bland and horrible. Always forgetting his lines and he doesn't have that many! Tazz is crap now too. Poor Styles..
I wonder if they'd consider moving Styles to Smackdown and moving coach out.

I don't know how much Styles really minds it. He has a job with the company still. And as great of an announcer as he is, I'm sure he was getting depressed commentating for this "NEW" ECW.
Mike Adamle?!!? Well I suppose Vince has to justify paying him some how. I will reserve judgment on his commentating ability untill I hear him for a few weeks, but I'm not too hopefull.
I'd have preferred them to go with a younger guy, who maybe can be groomed to take over from JR in a few years time, when it's time for him to hang up his mic.
