- Look for the Ric Flair retirement storyline to begin very soon. The current plan is to start the angle this year and finish it up sometime between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 24.
- The reason behind Tazz commentating with Jim Ross on RAW this week was to see how the two would come off together. Word is Vince wanted to break JR and Lawler up for a while now due to the feeling they may be too Southern, which RAW writer Kevin Dunn isn't too big on.
If the two split, Lawler may end up on ECW working with Styles and could wrestle a match every now and then. ECW writer Dusty Rhodes is also pushing for Lawler to come over to ECW

I'd love to see Tazz and JR work together.....everybody in WWE knows that the only reason they aren't already paired up is because they need a colour commentator on ECW. Now it seems ECW and RAW are gonna switch announcers and ECW will have the worst commentating team.

I would love to see Flair go out with a bang at WM24 i think giving him one last title run maybe US could be great and maybe have him face off with a old rival?
On the whole announcing thing i think it's great, it would be nice to see how Styles and Jerry work together.

Yeah with flair. I think it would be great that he wins the title at a soon PPV, hold it until Wrestlemania, lose it to like MVP or someone, then retire. I think that's great that he decided to retire. As the announcing goes, I could care less because I'm never up to see ECW and with RAW on a nine, I only get to see bits and pieces of it so to me it don't matter.

for all of you people who are happy flair is retiring.... i have two words for you.. rot in fucking hell. Ric Flair cant wrestle as well as shawn michaels.. nor can Cena.. nor Can Boretista.. nor can Khali. I bet you all are hoping boretista wins the belt back from khali am i right? eff that.. i'd rather have rey mysterio or kane or taker.. hell. i'd rather have fucking hornswoggle win the championship then boretista. He is the shitty version of supercena.. same old shit.. same feuds.. always in title picture. Put someone fucking new for once. Flair deserves one more.. at least in WWE.. not WCW.. not WWF.. wwe.

Lawler and Ross too southern? What does Vince expect? It's Oklahoma meets Tennessee. I'm not really a fan of Tazz. I like his voice, it's just the stupid shit he says that gets to me, and the way he pronounces the letter "a" as "er".
