Sources on both sides of the discussions are stating that the new TNA/Spike TV deal is close to completion.
The belief as of now is that the deal would see iMPACT! being expanded to a two hour show starting in late September/early October.

I so can not wait for this to happen, I think Impact! will be so much better once they get time to showcase more of their talent, more wrestlers will be able to showcase talent, I think it'll help them and the ratings out a lot....

Yea the second hour will help a lot more than what people realize, what's so bad with there shows now is that they try to put over the main event and spend 20 minutes of air time on them, leaving 22 minutes left for wrestling (42 minutes of air time in a 60 minute show)....So doubling that would help a lot, it would spread out the time from the main event, so it doesn't feel like we watch a whole show of them, and also gives time for the X-Division, mid-card and all the rest...
