Well, I watched this last night, and I felt I needed to show my opinion on this show:
First of all, King Booker's promo. Now, I think I am going to have to go back on what I have been saying recently, King Booker has really started to entertain me recently, it was a good promo and I definetly love his voice, especially the way he says Peasant

Then Rey Mysterio came out, it was obviously going to happen and he got a big pop, what I love about this though, is that Rey Mysterio did not get his ass whupped, he ambushed Booker and actually came out on top....for once.
Overall it was a very good promo and the best opening promo I have seen since JBL.
Next, Mr. Kennedy vs Matt Hardy. Now, this is the main point I want to talk about, I am so pleased with this match, for so many different reasons. This was the best flagship show match I had seen since Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio two nights before Wrestlemania 22, that was an amazing match. I loved Mr.Kennedy vs Matt Hardy because it was so back and forth, and we all knew Mr. Kennedy would win as Matt Hardy is just an under-used jobber. But no! Small Package! Matt Hardy wins! Yeah! The crowd were loving that, and so was I, not just because Matt Hardy picked up the win but for what that represents, It represents to me that WWE are realising the potential they have in Matt Hardy. I think I speak for more than just myself when I say Matt Hardy is definetly under-used and entertaining in the ring. And, just listen to the crowd reaction he gets! Of all the Superstars on Smackdown Matt Hardy gets one of the biggest pops. I would say Batista gets the biggest, then Rey Mysterio, then I dont think there is anyone else who gets more of a pop than Matt Hardy, maybe Bobby Lashley but I really dont think so. IMO, Matt Hardy should be pushed all the way up the card. Yes, All the way. Right to the top. I doubt anyone will agree with me, but I think it should happen. Give him a Manager like Ashley and he could be great. Also, him beating someone like Mr. Kennedy is even better as not only do I hope this can lead to a big feud between them, seeing as Mr. Kennedy was meant to have a monster push and has been undefeated recently, it must mean something that Matt Hardy defeated him. I hope it is the beginning of a feud. And, JBL has been putting him over while staying as a heel perfectly recently, he keeps saying that Matt Hardy has the ability and could be a main event player, but then he keeps heel perfectly by saying he needs to stop beeing such a wuss and get over his little girlfriend problems.
Overall, this was an awesome match and I definetly hope this leads to a feud with these two stars being pushed up the card, more so Matt Hardy.
Next up, Jamie Noble vs Paul London. As usual, I really enjoy a Paul London match, god he has so much ability! even though I like London, I am pleased Jamie Noble won. He also has so much ability, one of the best technical and rough neck Superstars on Smackdown! We now know that at the Great American Bash it will be Jamie Noble and Kid Kash challenging Paul London and Brian Kendrick for the titles. Finally a match to look forward to! These are 4 of the most entertaining Superstars on Smackdown! IMO. But, I hope Brian Kendrick and Paul London win this match at the Great American Bash, but as much as I love Brian Kendrick and realise this will probably be his only taste of WWE Gold, but I hope they split up soon so Paul London can maybe be pushed up the card a bit, he really deserves it.
Next, the Diva search Boot Camp.

Ok well, next is Finlay vs Bobby Lashley. This was a good match also IMO, Lashley has really been impressing me recently, he deserves the push he has been getting. I must say I was really suprised at him losing the title, I thought he would lose it at the Great American Bash. Well, I am kind of happy that Finlay won the title, he seems like a good title holder. I think Bobby Lashley may win the title back at the Great American Bash, but I can see Finlay retaining. I doubt Regal will win. Well, this was a good build up to the Great American Bash, I cant wait for this match, Great American Bash is really shaping up good.
Now, FINALLY we see The Undertaker! I cant express how pleased I am he is back, I hope he destroys the Great Khali at the Great American Bash. Well, as usual Daivari shows his great Mic skills, and as usual they use that stupid camera angle when the Great Khali comes out so that he looks even bigger. Nothing else to really say about this, but definetly an awesome build up for The Great American Bash, I am very interested to see what this Punjabi Prison match is.
Well, here we go with the Contract signing, I was suprised it was not the Main Event, but not disappointed. The Pop that Batista got was so amazing, and the Heat for Mark Henry was good. Now, I love to see Batista back and I must say I am thoroughly impressed by Mark Henry here, he really is trying to improve his Mic Skills, and I think he is doing so. I like Mark Henry, and I am not ashamed to say that. I am a little disappointed that Theodore Long said that if they fight each other tonight than the No.1 contendership will be forfeited, but I guess it is just for build up to The Great American Bash. I like how it is now a No.1 Contendership, only one thing, Batista is supposed to be going to RAW soon right? Well then how can he get the title? Obviously he will beat Mark Henry and go onto Summerslam, but I cant see him losing at Summerslam, so this will be interesting to see unfold.
Regal vs Rey Mysterio. Now, I liked this match, It is good to see William Regal further up the card, as opposed to not even being on it usually, I love Booker T on commentary, as I said a while back, his voice cracks me up. But what I REALLY love about this match is that FINALLY Rey Mysterio does not get dominated 24/7! They are finally putting a stop to his underdog push it seems, twice in one show he got the better of Booker T and showed himself as a good Champion, and that, was a perfect note to leave Smackdown on.
Well, there is what I think, It is not really a Review, just my thoughts on Smackdown.
