I'm glad to see MVP qualify if they do indeed go with this. For whatever reason people seem to think that Matt Hardy returning and costing MVP a match i enough build for the payoff of their feud at WM.

However, I think because it has been so many months since Hardy was on television and they never really wrestled last summer/fall it is best for Hardy to interfere in the MITB match (possibly helping his brother win in the process of costing MVP the match) leading to a well built singles match between the two at Backlash and then a gimmick match at Judgment Day.

It's not a bad idea Highlight Reel, although, I don't really want Jeff Hardy to win the MITB. He's already had his title shot and is still the I.C. champion. I'd rather see him get a shot otherwise, and have someone like Shelton carrying around the briefcase but that's wishful thinking.

I thought for sure that MVP vs Hardy would happen at Mania, kindof disappointed it isn't going to be now. The Matt costing MVP the match/helping Jeff win scenario is a pretty good idea though.

Well MVP qualifying is on the WWE website so it appears he is in for sure, I would expect some sort of promo or segment mentioning the fact on Smackdown this week. Also, I just read that the idea is for Matt Hardy to also be a MITB participant and then do the singles match at Backlash. Though I like this idea, I can't think of any strong midcard heels on SD that he could defeat to qualify - maybe Palumbo?

As far as the MITB winner goes, I would prefer if Jericho won as he never really finished his title feud with Orton after breaking off to feud with JBL, but it seems like Jeff Hardy will win even though I doubt his ability to make carrying the briefcase past at least Summerslam entertaining. I mean he really hasn't done much with the Intercontinental Title lately.
