Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga

After a backstage incident in Iraq, there are several people within WWE who now see Randy Orton as something of a locker room leader. Orton is viewed as one of the few guys who don’t take crap from HHH and Shawn Michaels.
The backstage incident in Iraq, of all places, involved Umaga having tights made for his match and the seamstress telling him he couldn’t use those colors because they are HHH’s colors, but he insisted on it.
Michaels threw a fit about Umaga’s tights when he saw him go through the curtain and Orton was the only one who stood up for Umaga. Orton is said to have the same attitude that Michaels used to, but since Orton has stood up to people that a lot of the locker room doesn’t like, and knows they would loose their jobs if they stood up to them, Orton has become popular.
Wow those guys sound like a bunch of pussies. I can't stand the politics on Raw. What do you guys think of Orton being a locker room leader? Seems more like just a guy who doesnt give a fuck, and we'll say what he wants...

Ya but Orton used to do some nasty shit a while back. Orton is just a person with a belt cuz some1 said so in the company. I wouldn't look up to him for advice on trying to kill myself.
On the other hand I kinda see where HBK and H are going. Unless Umaga joined DX then he shouldn't have green on his design.

Re: Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga
Giving shit over the color someone is wearing is bullshit.
No wonder guys hate being sent to Raw. Booker didnt want to go but gave in eventually & got squashed.
Shelley Martinez stood up to Batista & the next day got fired so no wonder no-one stands up to them. Orton howver is in a great position. One of the top talents & one of only two young guys that WWE have built as main eventers (Cena being the other) He knows that if he gets fired TNA would jump on him before he has even left the WWE arena, resulting in him getting a lot of money & being the top guy.

Re: Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga
Funny you mention Shelly Martinez. I am watching TNA Final Resolution and think its nice to see her in wrestling again. She could have been that edge for the WWE divas that they are missing these days since early Lita.
Also Randy Orton knows he is untouchable too, not a bad position to be in. Nice to see he is finally maturing from the kid that shit in bags.

Re: Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga
I don't think HBK would do that.

Re: Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga
After reading the interview Orton gave (forget where) when he basically admitted that guys like Taker, Trips, and HBK need to step aside for the next generation of stars, this doesn't surprise me at all.
I don't really think he was in the wrong though by standing up to HBK. I think when arguing over the colors of ones attire, Shawn is taking it a bit far, almost trying to find reasons to show his high spot in the company. For being a devout Christian, I don't think he is acting like one picking fights like this. (I don't want to get into a religious debate, it's just my opinion)
Re: Major Backstage Incident Involving HBK, Orton, & Umaga
There is nothing more annoying then people in the locker room who act like they own everybody. I think there is a big difference of being a leader in the locker room, and just being a dick. And in wrestling the dicks over power the good leaders.
