-- Mike Johnson is reporting that Candice Michelle and Bobby Lashley are slated to return shortly after injuries. Lashley is expected back anytime while Michelle is expected to return early next month.
-- Carlito worked for his father's World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico this weekend. On January 5th in Mayaguez, Carlito teamed with Eddie Colon and Orlando Colon to defeat Black Pain, former TNA star Ron Killings and former WWE star Chris Masters. The colons were laid out until masked tag team Thunder and Lightning made the saved.
-- Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore beat John Morrison and The Miz at a house show this weekend in Canton, Ohio to quality for the Royal Rumble.
I fully expect Lasley to be a participant for the Royal Rumble and maybe even win it. Too bad a win won't buy him any charisma.

You know, i just thought of something, all the people that go to the shows and always cheer for the "good guys" and say oh HHH sucks cause he is a jerk and yada yada yada... they aint the real fans, the real fans are us at wrestling forums talking about wrestling and respecting wrestlers even if we don't like them.... i still hate cenas guts though -_-

He's an incredible athlete, especially given his size. Sure he has had a charisma bypass, however there's nothing that a Brock/Heyman style heel arrangement wouldn't correct. I'd love them to go down that route with him and make him more of a monster. He's just missing any of the right ingredients to be an uberface on the show at this stage

I don't know if Lashley has the charisma to pull off being a heel. To be a heel, you have to generate heat on the mic, and I just can't see Bobby doing that. I just look at his goofy smile and dimples and shake my head. Although I do agree that when he comes back, it would be nice to see a change in his character.
He was pretty bland before his injury IMO. Even having a high-caliber match last Wrestlemania against Umaga, and the guy hardly did anything to make you remember he was in Trump's corner.
Maybe Bobby took some acting classes during his injury timeout.
I don't know if Lashley has the charisma to pull off being a heel. To be a heel, you have to generate heat on the mic, and I just can't see Bobby doing that.
Which is why I said put a manager with him (a'la Heyman/Brock), after all Brock was fucking clueless and looked equally dumb on the mic when he first got there. He was allowed to get that time to improve. Also I actually think it's way easier to be an effective heel and get people to hate on you than it is to get people to invest their "love" in you!! You know. Sexually.

Agreed, but even after Heyman left Brock's side, he was back alone and did nothing for his character from a charisma standpoint. It's almost as if he didn't learn anything during that time, and even though he was main event status (like Lashley is becoming), he didn't use that time to hone any mic skills.
For a while it will be a "band-aid" to give him a manager, but eventually Lashley would need to go on himself. Umaga is an example of this after leaving Estrada. Yes, he's still gets a major heel reaction, but what storylines has he been in recently? He's just one of those "Your surprise opponent is the MONSTER Umaga!" guys, like Kane a while back.
Just like Umaga, without that part of it, Lashely is still very limited even as a heel. I guess I'm just not a huge fan of us. Sure, he's a great athlete and has the look...but in this business it's all about the total "package". You know. Sexually.

I agree but Brock was a face by then and yes he did look bad still on the mic, but was far more comfortable when he reverted back to being the heel that Heyman had taught him to be.
Umaga's problem is nothing to do with losing his manager, it's everything to do with them deciding they were going to just treat him as the jobber to the main eventers. Even if Estrada was still with him, his recent run of defeats would still castigate him as a depreciating asset.
Lashley has an incredible package (as a heel) it just needs refining with "management". And who's to say that has to be short term? Could be a long term manager. God knows he may need it! You know. Sexually.

You would think Lashley would be working on his charisma while out. One would hope he would be studying up, b/c his character sucks. He is fucking huge though.
